Job Description

The Manager, Marketing Operations Electronic Review System (ERS) is key leadership role within Marketing Operations responsible for support of the Veeva PromoMats platform and the Enterprise Review System Team. This position reports to the Associate Director, Marketing Systems Excellence, ERS.

This position is a hybrid role and requires the ability to be in our Mettawa, IL office at least 3 days per week.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the Electronic Review System (ERS) Team which supports Marketing, MRP Project Managers, Editors, Reviewers, and External Creative Agencies on the material review process.
  • Drive continuous improvement support initiatives for the Material Review Process (MRP).
  • Oversee all litigation and act as SME for audit requests for US Veeva PromoMats
• Provide support for Veeva PromoMats and the Material Review Process
  • Over 15,000 projects (emails, websites, banner ads, social, print, etc.) anticipated to be reviewed and approved for all Commercial Brand Teams
• Participate in designated special projects related to integrations, new product launches, new functionality or others where system configuration is required.
  • Lead Design and Requirements shepherding on US Robotics Projects (Help Bot, Bi-Directional, Expiration Date)
• Responsible for training of Medical Regulatory, Editors, Viewers, and Ad-Hoc users on the Material Review Process
• Partner with the Marketing Operations MRP Training Team on the rollout of new functionality and capabilities to all cross functional stakeholders (Marketing, Agencies, BTS, Lab, Marketing Ops, and Med/Reg).
• Execute and influence effective collaboration in alignment of future releases to meet AbbVie business needs (Platform Roadmap)
  • Co-Manage Enhancement Management with AbbVie Platform Lead
• Deliver Executive Sponsors and Business Lead Communications across US/Global/OUS/Medical
• AbbVie Point of Contact for Veeva
  • Responsible for organizing and scheduling semi-annual AbbVie-Veeva days where AbbVie Commercial and BTS leadership meet with Veeva leadership on strategic objectives and topics.
• Ensure alignment with AbbVie processes and policies in support of organization.
• Lead external partnerships with Solutions Plus in partnership with the Marketing Operations Metrics Team.

Qualifications

• B.A./B.S./Business, Communications or Advertising (MBA not required, but desirable) or equivalent business experience within related industry.
• 5+ years of experience in project or program management.
• 2+ years working with Veeva PromoMats
• Proven leadership competencies to include setting vision and strategy, building teams, knowing the business, driving for results, and encouraging open exchange of ideas and knowledge.
• Strong, proven management experience across multiple functions including management of exempt personnel in fast-paced, service/team environment.
• Highly motivated change agent that can drive business-focused solutions.
• Strong written, verbal and presentation skills with the ability to distill highly complex requirements into compelling business objectives.
• Strong problem-solving abilities in complex, compliance regulated department.
• Pharmaceutical industry experience preferred.
