Job Description

The Strategic Services Sourcing Manager in the Customer Service Organization (CSO) is responsible for managing regional Services Suppliers, overseeing the OEM and third-party provider (3PP) quotes and capabilities, negotiating, and overseeing risk as required. This includes managing the activities of planning, process, systems, budget, monitoring, reporting and ensuring that we optimize our supplier engagements.

Master level Strategic Services Sourcing Managers are also responsible for service delivery of CrossLab sourcing services to customers, providing expert consultancy on topics such as: Total Cost of ownership, contract negotiations, supplier rationalization, and Cost Savings performance KPIs.

Your Responsibilities, but not limited to:

  • Implement global sourcing strategy in assigned territory, ensuring effective SSM program

  • Develop and execute service sourcing strategies, plans, and priorities, collaborating with business partners

  • Manages customer programs and projects such budget, pricing, tender, and quoting support for customer assets

  • Participate in customer reviews with the Enterprise team to represent Strategic Sourcing and discuss status, planning, and additional savings opportunities

  • Performs CSS/RFP implementation services for customers by managing change orders and renewals

  • Evaluate supplier bids, select vendor partners, and negotiate contracts (OEM/3PP/ASP) on a global or regional scale to meet the needs of Agilent’s customers and achieve our cost savings, strategic, and quality goals

  • Maintain collaborative relationships with suppliers while optimally resolving supplier performance / capability issues

  • Recommend alternative suppliers to meet evolving customer needs

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's Degree or equivalent

Typically, at least 10+ years relevant experience for entry to this level
