Job Description

We are a small team developing software for use in our manufacturing areas. This person would be the only dedicated software validation resource. We do not use any formal methodology. Our software is mostly client server but an increasing amount of web based

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain test data sets to ensure comprehensive testing coverage.

  • Conduct manual and automated testing to identify and document software defects.

  • Develop detailed validation plans and generate comprehensive validation reports.

  • Perform validation activities to ensure software meets specified requirements and standards.

  • Design and implement automated test scripts to enhance testing efficiency and coverage.

  • Provide support to development teams and assist in troubleshooting and resolving software issues for production.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

  • 4+ years of experience in software validation, testing, or a related role.

  • Experience with automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit). Strong SQL experience for query writing

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong with Microsoft tools.

  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment while working remotely from other team members.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of regulatory standards and guidelines (e.g., FDA, ISO) related to software validation.

  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, or C#.
