Job Description
Agilent Technologies is seeking a Process Chemist/Engineer to support silica-based particle manufacturing for high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) consumables. This role offers an excellent opportunity to chip in to a high-visibility product line in a growing business. At Agilent, you’ll demonstrate Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies to drive process improvements, product innovation, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide daily production support for silica-based packing used in HPLC columns.
Identify and resolve yield, scrap, and process-related issues.
Lead capital and continuous improvement projects to improve product and process performance.
Scale and optimize existing chemistries to support product demand and growth.
Drive safety, quality, and efficiency improvements through Lean and Six Sigma initiatives.
Implement Management of Change (MoC) processes, lead nonconforming product, and implement corrective/preventive actions.
Support new product introductions and chip in to the evolution of existing and new chemistries.
Maintain accurate SAP data, including bills of materials and production recipes.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or related field.
1+ years of proven experience.
Strong technical, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
Effective communication (written and verbal) and teamwork abilities.
Leadership skills with a focus on teamwork and project execution.
Proficiency in digital tools and data analysis; knowledge of statistical methods is a plus.
Strong interpersonal and time management skills.
Additional Details
This job has a full time weekly schedule. Applications for this job will be accepted until at least December 26, 2024 or until the job is no longer posted.The full-time equivalent pay range for this position is $79,200.00 - $123,750.00/yr plus eligibility for bonus, stock and benefits. Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
