Agilent Indirect sourcing is a truly global team with presence in 10 countries: UK, Denmark, Germany, China, India, Japan, Singapore, Malaysia, Brazil, and the United States. As a Sourcing Manager, you will have the opportunity to develop professional partnerships with key stakeholders in supporting their sourcing needs for assigned countries/regions/categories

This role will be the Point of Contact for all Sourcing assignments in Greater China (Mainland, Hong Kong & Taiwan). The person will also support sourcing assignments across SAJK region as required and will report into Asia Pacific Regional Sourcing Director. There will also have opportunity to work on Regional/ Global Sourcing process improvement/cross functional projects. Your success will be measured on an annual saving plan as well as feedback from your key business stakeholders.

You will be responsible for:

- Developing sourcing strategy for Agilent China (Mainland, Hong Kong & Taiwan)and any other assigned countries/regions/categories.

- Leading RFP’s; e-Auctions, defining sourcing strategy for engagements; developing sourcing engagement communication plans; Drive commercial and contractual negotiation; execute end to end sourcing activities & aligning with stakeholders on supplier selection.

- Executing sourcing engagements, while balancing service levels, cost and compliance
- Conducting supply market analysis, cost modelling and bench - marking

- Lead relationship management with your suppliers as well as internal stakeholders for your assigned countries/categories

- Managing contract review/renewal process, working closely with stakeholders to ensure alignment on plans
- Negotiating favorable contract terms, conditions and price for Agilent
- Reviewing purchase requisitions for compliance and approval
- Reviewing supplier adds, and complete analysis/compliance in preparation for approval
- Providing efficient and consistent communication to stakeholders on the progress of sourcing engagements
- Adhering to Global Sourcing indirect policies, processes and procedures to ensure compliance
- Building business relationships/trust with key stakeholders

- Ability to work within a truly global, multi-cultural environment adapting style to support

- Providing leading / supporting roles in Compliance Audit Preparation work, Sourcing Audit support

- Delivering Sourcing knowledge sessions; communications & training for Greater China end users as

required.

- Proactively identifying savings opportunities and influencing stakeholders to buy into these solutions through robust analysis and ROI.

Qualifications

Key Skills/Qualification:

- Bachelors or Master’s degree or University Degree or equivalent.

- Proficiency in English language is a MUST

-Typically, 5-10 years relevant sourcing experience working in a multinational; multi-cultural environment

- Knowledge across key Asia Pacific markets especially Greater China & Asia Pacific countries for multiple indirect sourcing categories: HR, WPS, MRO, Professional Services , Finance , Marketing, and etc…

-Prior experience in leading complex RFP’s and negotiation skills are core to this position.

- Ability to clearly articulate strategy and gain alignment with senior management is critical for this position.

- Person needs to be self-starter & ability to work with minimal supervision.

This job has a full time weekly schedule.Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
