Overview
We are actively seeking an Associate Director, Global TTR Project Lead which is an operational, medical strategy and execution role designed to support VP, TTR Medical Lead and Global medical directors. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in ensuring that Global TTR medical plans are fully integrated with Expertise Areas and regional plans and are successfully executed. This position involves supporting annual medical strategic planning process , working closely with Global medical directors and VP of Global TTR Franchise to drive the annual planning process and execution . This role requires a professional with the understanding of medical strategy, operations, and ability to navigate complex organizational structures.
This position is onsite / hybrid onsite and will be primarily located in Cambridge, MA
Key Responsibilities
- Supports and coordinates the development and execution of the Global medical strategic planning process, ensuring alignment and integration of regional strategies.
- Drives the execution of strategic initiatives, tracking progress and making necessary adjustments to meet strategic goals.
- Responsible for tactical execution of all Global TTR medical initiatives and supporting Global medical directors with planning and execution of all logistics including contracting, PO management and coordination of Advisory Boards
- Responsible for developing content for various presentations (including QBR/MBR, LT meetings, updates to Executive Leadership) and dissemination of follow up actions
- Works closely with various Commercial business units and Medical Affairs Expertise Areas and Regions to ensure alignment of strategies with overall TTR medical objectives
- Address conflicts to facilitate informed decision-making through maintaining objectivity, influencing others, and leveraging data & insights
- Fosters cross-functional collaboration, working closely with clinical development, regulatory affairs, marketing, and other departments to ensure cohesive strategy execution.
- Leads special projects and initiatives as directed by the VP, Global TTR Medical Lead ensuring that strategic objectives are achieved.
Qualifications
- BA/BS degree in a scientific discipline or business is required
- Advanced degree (PharmD, PhD or equivalent) is preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Medical Affairs from life-science consulting or operations and strategy roles in Global Medical Affairs
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute medical strategies and operational plans.
- Strong written/oral communication and organizational skills, with a proven track record of leading cross-functional projects and influencing without authority.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to navigate complex organizational structures and drive flawless execution or medical plans.
