The purpose of the Associate Director, International CRM Lead role is to lead and direct the Alnylam CRM system within International Business Operations and provide end-to-end meeting support to customer facing teams.

In this highly visible role and as a representative of the Business Operations team, the successful candidate will be responsible for developing CRM budgets, planning and timely execution.

The candidate should understand the business and corporate culture and adapt to evolving priorities. They will be expected to contribute to broader department programs and company goals. A high level of initiative, self-motivation, flexibility, creativity, and collaboration is essential to develop, plan, and execute.

The role reports to the VP, Business Operations International.

Summary of Key Responsibilities & Skills

  • Proactively lead development of the Vision, Strategy and Business processes for how CRM will contribute to the company's long-term goals
  • Champion, educate, and enhance process efficiencies to drive in field adoption of CRM best practise
  • Serve as SME for CRM innovation - software upgrades, implementations, and integration projects providing product expertise and quality assurance
  • Besides having proven technical capabilities, the role requires strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration at senior levels within the organization
  • Supervise the administration of CRM systems. Give the needed and effective support for CRM and platforms used in any customer facing operation within HCP and HCO engagement. Monitor Veeva system performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
  • Territory management: Collaborate to maintain accurate and up-to-date territory definitions by country. Ensure territories align with the overall sales strategy to maximize efficiency and effectiveness.
  • User access management: Manage user access by creating and removing accounts as required. Ensure appropriate access levels are granted based on user roles and responsibilities. Maintain data security and confidentiality by implementing access controls.
  • Omnichannel cycle channel planning: Work closely with Digital leads to align Go-To-Market strategy.
  • Closed loop marketing support: Advise and support the upload of CLMs, ensuring accurate and timely deployment.
  • CRM Training. Deliver timely high quality user training to country teams
  • Process standardization and optimization: Develop and implement standardized processes, ensuring alignment with global policies. Identify opportunities to streamline and enhance CRM processes, driving efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Data analysis and reporting: Define and track utilization and engagement KPI’s on tools adoption.
  • Ensure sustainable collaborative working relationship: Foster open communication and collaboration with the cross functional teams. Share best practices and lessons learned to improve sales force effectiveness across the region.
  • Display strong project management skills, be able to prioritize tasks with minimal supervision, and thrive in a fast-paced environment handling multiple projects with tight deadlines

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent degree
  • 8+ years CRM experience required, biotech/pharmaceutical industry or healthcare sector desired
  • Demonstrable leadership skills
  • Experience with Commercial Effectiveness
  • Knowledgeable in healthcare industry compliance
  • Fluent in English, second language preferred
  • Ability to work in a matrix environment
  • Team work
  • Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Experience/hands on usage of Veeva Suite software required
  • Must be willing to work a flexible schedule including travel up to 25% within Europe (pro rata)
