What you will do

As a member of the Global Partnership Supply Chain team, you will play a critical role in driving the commercial expansion and advancement of our pipeline by optimally handling the Operations and CMC aspects of our external collaborations and improving the strategic value of our partnerships.

  • Ensure efficient, timely and quality supply to Amgen’s partners in accordance with all contractual obligations.

  • Drive effective working relationships with Partner organizations, Product Delivery Teams (PDTs), Supply Chain Teams (SCTs), as well as other Operations and cross-functional teams.

  • Lead cross-functional teams within Amgen and Partner organizations in support of collaboration activities, such as clinical and commercial supply, CMC regulatory submissions, product launches, manufacturing tech transfers, and CMC scientific/technical data exchange.

  • Lead S&OP meeting series with partners, and coordinate with Amgen collaborators (commercial, finance, supply chain, etc.) on a strategic approach for performance management.

  • Manage partner forecasts, provide planning oversight, and implementation for Commercial products to ensure supply per negotiated manufacturing stage, in alignment with contractual obligations

  • Serve as the primary point-of-contact for one or more Operation’s alliances interfacing across functions including Legal, Quality, Alliance Management, Cost Accounting, and Tax to summarize and highlight challenges to executive management

  • Provide functional input into licensing, supply, and quality agreements as well as financial modeling

  • Find opportunities to increase the strategic value of partnerships and advocate for continuous improvement within the collaboration

  • Contribute to the Partnership Supply functional strategy, including the implementation of standard processes for managing collaborations and implementation of specific projects to drive organizational maturity

  • Provide Supply Chain advisement as a core member of one or more Product Delivery Teams (PDTs)

Basic Qualifications:

  • Doctorate degree OR

  • Master’s degree and 2 years of experience OR

  • Bachelor’s degree and 4 years of experience OR

  • Associate’s degree and 8 years of experience OR

  • High school diploma / GED and 10 years of experience

  • Demonstrates cultural awareness & sensitivity

  • Understands and applies core end-to-end supply chain principles

  • Provides guidance to leadership for long-term strategy and objectives

  • Displays fortitude and perseverance when receiving constructive feedback

  • Distills complex information into a logical, concise message for leadership

  • Communicates effectively with leadership on a prepared and ad hoc basis

  • Writes, reviews, and edits complex proposals for high-level decision-makers

  • Drives decision-making on supply chain issues affecting the department

  • Anticipates network problems and partners to develop practical solutions

  • Takes calculated risks with expected positive outcomes

  • Builds cross-functional teams using diverse capabilities of staff

Salary Range

105,457.00 USD - 134,661.00 USD
