About the Role:
Amgen is offering an exciting internship opportunity within the Global Distribution Hub (GDH) team, focusing on improving the effectiveness of our Distribution Requirements Planning (DRP) processes. As part of this role, you will contribute to defining, analyzing, and optimizing key performance indicators (KPIs) for DRP strategies, including shipping quantities and lane utilization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and establish KPIs for DRP processes, including metrics for shipping quantities and lane utilization.
- Analyze current DRP processes and identify opportunities for improvement in line with global distribution operations.
- Conduct comparative analysis of shipping strategies and their impact on HUBS, including Make-To-Order (MTO) and Make-To-Stock (MTS) strategies.
- Benchmark regional DRP processes and KPIs to identify best practices and process variations.
- Develop actionable recommendations and an implementation plan for improving DRP strategies across regions.

Skills & Qualifications:
