Specialist IS Business Systems Analyst-Product Team
What you will do

In this vital role you will join the Revenue Management Product Team in Amgen’s Digital, Technology and Innovation (DTI) organization, and will be responsible for operating and supporting Amgen’s Model N SaaS software product features and integrations necessary for pharmaceutical contracting and pricing execution, and for Gross-to-Net forecasting and reporting. The role primarily liaises with stakeholders in the US Commercial, Finance, Accounting, Trade Operations, and DTI organizations. As the Product Owner, the Specialist IS Business Systems Analyst will primarily support product capabilities on Amgen’s Model N implementation, with process workflows and integrations into SAP Order-to-Cash, Anaplan, Amazon Web Services (Redshift, Databricks) and Mulesoft platforms. This individual will be responsible for the full cycle of Product Ownership including SAFe Agile DevOps, CI/CD and process automation.
Position Responsibilities / Accountabilities
Serve as the Product Owner and Lead Business Analyst for Amgen’s Model N Revenue Cloud and Validata SaaS implementations, with responsibility for the full cycle of service delivery
Own stakeholder relationships with cross-functional business and DTI partners to translate, negotiate and influence business needs into technology Product solutions
Evaluate needs, research and help design and engineer Product capabilities and process workflows to enable integrated contract development, operations, and financial reporting with improved transparency and auditability
Establish and maintain system capabilities and governance to ensure data integrity across the technology landscape
Manage the full lifecycle of product features utilizing SAFe principles from Product visioning through DevOps
Support Product leadership with project management, planning, resourcing (both internal and external), prioritization, and funding for Product capabilities
Provide in-depth knowledge and proficiency in supporting Amgen’s Model N Revenue Cloud and Validata business processes and workflows, and SAP OTC and AWS Data Lake integrations
Delivering Results
Provide key Product Owner and Business Analyst support for Amgen’s implementation and operations of the Model N Pharma Revenue Cloud and Validata platforms, including data management for Master Data (products, pricing, contracts, customers and memberships), Contracts, Strategies, and rebates and fee transactions for Payer (Managed Care), Channel, and Provider rebates
Work cross-functionally with DTI, Commercial and Finance stakeholders to support data integrations and workflows necessary for forecasting, reporting and analytics capabilities across Amgen’s Gross-to-Net processes
Work with business partners, end users, and technology teams to capture, understand, and define business requirements
Partner with Product and Enterprise DTI teams to build and validate technology solutions, workflows, and process automation including automated regression testing.
Serve as a Business Systems Analyst for software development and operational support activities using SAFe and DevOps principles within the context of software systems subject to audit and compliance requirements

Basic Qualifications:
Doctorate degree
OR
Master’s degree and 2 years of Information Systems experience
OR
Bachelor’s degree and 4 years of Information Systems experience
OR
Associate’s degree and 8 years of Information Systems experience
Or
High school diploma / GED and 10 years of Information Systems experience
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Contracting Revenue Management platforms such as Model N or Revitas in the pharmaceutical and/or healthcare industry with focus on information system management, data management and integration. Model N Revenue Cloud and Validata experience is strongly preferred.
Model N to SAP OTC and EDI integrations to support the full cycle of contract operations.
Experience with utilizing and supporting cloud-based data hubs and integrations preferably utilizing AWS, Databricks and Mulesoft
Certifications in SAFe Agile!
Superb communication skills to work across and up through the organization, including customer concerns and mitigation of issues, risks, and business impacts
Excellent influencing skills, with demonstrable ability to work closely and effectively with key business partners, IT leadership teams, and external service providers

The expected annual salary range for this role in the U.S. (excluding Puerto Rico) is posted. Actual salary will vary based on several factors including but not limited to, relevant skills, experience, and qualifications.
