What you will do

In this vital role you will, the individual will be responsible for:

  • Provide general support to the Equipment System Owners

  • Work daily in Maximo generating and routing work orders, entering new assets, salvaging and inactivating equipment, and revising job plans

  • Prepare and run the weekly scheduling meeting which includes numerous partner groups

  • Interact often with vendors while maintaining functional stability of equipment by troubleshooting issues with lab staff

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for QC Controlled Temperature Chambers (CTC's)

  • Provide afterhours support by carrying the CEMS phone and coming onsite to assist as required

  • Work in the Critical Equipment Monitoring System (CEMS) to obtain temperature data, trend, and perform various other tasks

  • Interact with lab staff to assess equipment needs

  • Contact vendors to perform maintenance, review service reports, and coordinate/schedule work

  • Obtain quotes from vendors for parts and repairs while generating and managing purchase orders in MyBuy

  • Work with lab staff to locate and ensure instruments are turned in for PM and calibration

  • Initiate, own, and manage the completion of minor deviations

  • Primary contact for the Equipment Team to manage and update GMP documents in CDOCS

  • Provide support on data integrity assessments and periodic reviews of level 1 GMP equipment

  • Work with various support groups on the installation and validation of new equipment

  • Participate in audits, initiatives, and projects that may be departmental or organizational in scope

  • Provide support with activation of AM and MFG domain ports and configuration of ports for analytical equipment

  • Ad hoc tasks/projects assigned as per manager’s request

Basic Qualifications:

  • High school/GED + 2 years quality control work experience OR

  • Associate’s + 6 months quality control work experience OR

  • Bachelor’s

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Willingness to service and respond promptly to key partners and a demonstrated persistence to follow through to resolve issues is expected

  • Knowledge of CEMS operation and instrument setup

  • Maximo experience

  • Experience working in a document management system

  • Strong communication and organization skills

  • Vendor coordination

  • Equipment troubleshooting

The expected annual salary range for this role in the U.S. (excluding Puerto Rico) is posted. Actual salary will vary based on several factors including but not limited to, relevant skills, experience, and qualifications.

Salary Range

60,415.00 USD - 77,791.00 USD
