Responsibilities

Digital Project Leadership & Execution

  • Lead and manage at-scale digital transformation projects from initiation to deployment, ensuring alignment with business objectives, scalability, and operational efficiency.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive project roadmaps, risk mitigation strategies, budgets, and governance frameworks to drive successful digital project delivery.
  • Implement and advocate Agile/SAFe, DevOps, and other IT best practices to accelerate project timelines, enhance quality, and ensure continuous improvement in software development and IT operations.
  • ·Drive process automation, system integrations, and cloud-first strategies for optimizing enterprise-wide digital platforms, ensuring robust, scalable, and secure architectures.
  • Communicate project updates, risks, and outcomes effectively to executive leadership, translating technical challenges into actionable business insights.

Stakeholder & Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with business leaders, senior stakeholders, IT teams, and technology vendors to ensure digital initiatives align with strategic business objectives and enterprise IT roadmaps.
  • Facilitate stakeholder alignment by translating business needs into technical requirements, ensuring seamless communication between business and technology teams.
  • Lead vendor selection, contract negotiations, and vendor relationship management, ensuring optimal performance from outsourced IT development teams and strategic technology partners.
  • Foster cross-functional collaboration between Technology, Finance, operations, and customer-facing teams to drive business transformation and improve operational efficiency.
  • Engage with external consultants, regulatory bodies, and advisory firms to ensure projects adhere to industry best practices and evolving compliance standards.
  • Champion a culture of transparency, accountability, and agility, enabling faster decision-making and more effective digital transformation execution.

System Ownership & Operational Continuity

  • Oversee the stability, performance, and reliability of in-scope IT systems to support smooth business operations.
  • Implement proactive system monitoring and predictive analytics to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks before they impact business processes.
  • Partner with Cloud team to ensure system scalability and continuous optimization by managing regular patching, upgrades, and performance tuning for digital platforms.
  • Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to implement robust security measures, compliance standards, and vulnerability management practices for enterprise applications.
  • Drive automation in system maintenance and support operations using AI-driven monitoring tools, RPA (Robotic Process Automation), and self-healing IT frameworks.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • Proven experience in MNC or pharmaceutical industry, with a deep understanding of regulatory and governance requirements across local markets.
  • Strong expertise of sales, marketing, customer engagement, and event management, including lead generation, campaign execution, and relationship management.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in IT project management, digital transformation, or enterprise system implementation.
  • 5+ years of leadership experience in an MNC environment, managing technology initiatives.
  • Proven track record of delivering large-scale IT and digital transformation projects.
  • Experience in leading cross-functional teams across multiple geographies and working with global stakeholders

  • Excellent problem-solving, strategic thinking, and decision-making abilities.

  • Experience in vendor management, contract negotiations, and IT outsourcing.
  • High adaptability to evolving digital trends, emerging technologies, and business needs.
  • Excellent English skill in both oral and verbal.

Technical Skills & Expertise

  • Strong background in enterprise architecture, including IT strategy alignment, system integration, and technology governance. Able to find and implement solutions that meet business needs within the existing digital ecosystem.
  • Expertise in Agile (Scrum, SAFe), DevOps, and other project management skills.
  • Proficient in system maintenance, IT operations, and enterprise-wide digital platforms.
  • Knowledge of cloud computing, AI, automation, and enterprise software packages.
  • Skilled in overseeing end-to-end digital solution delivery, from planning to post-deployment support.
  • Extensive knowledge of majority of following systems/solutions: a)Must have: Event management; compliance management; working flow engine; Java. b) Strong plus: Veeva CRM; UiPath, SFDC platform, Dynamics; Copilot; Power Automation.
