Our Downstream Processing team is seeking an experienced Process Chemist who will assist our team in developing scalable processes to separate and purify bio-derived Key Starting Materials and APIs from bench to Pilot scale and support technology transfers to manufacturing scale. The scope of DSP includes identifying and understanding fate of impurities and matrix component interactions, product stability and degradation mechanisms, identifying unit operations and key processing parameters to establish operating ranges that meet customer specifications and target COGs. You will leverage your proven skills with other team scientists and engineers to meet project objectives. This position requires the ability to work cross-functionally with Biology, Analytics, Operations, Manufacturing, Business Development, Quality and Regulatory to develop sustainable processes that produce in specification products in the timelines established. Full-time base salary range of $145,000 – 165,000 plus an annual bonus potential and equity opportunities.
*Scientist II: Title and compensation will be based on level of experience with requested qualifications.
