Join us at Alexion, AstraZeneca Rare Disease, as a Senior Manager in our US PNH Marketing. This role is pivotal in tactic development supporting HCP marketing initiatives, positively impacting the PNH business. You will be trusted and empowered to innovate and lead, driving executional excellence across HCP marketing tactics, congress presence, digital marketing, Plan of Action meetings, and supporting marketing operations for the PNH business

You will be responsible for:

  • Lead the development of promotional materials communicating brand and disease messages to HCP audience, in collaboration with PNH Marketing teammates & cross functional partners
  • Planning and coordinating sales force communications for roll-out of marketing materials and initiatives
  • Overseing sales force resource guide and tracking utilization of sales force resources in inventory
  • Collaborate with Sales to identify best practices and uncover needs/ trends to improve consistency of brand strategy execution for the HCP audience
  • Track and monitor key performance indicators
  • Collaborating with the procurement and legal departments to process and submit contractual documents (e.g. scopes of work; consultant contracts)
  • Partnering closely with finance to oversee budget and accrual tracking for PNH business
  • Strong budget management for assigned projects
  • Collaborating effectively with wide range of cross-functional teams (incl. TLLs, Commercial Operations, Sales Operations, Medical, Regulatory Affairs, Legal, Compliance, etc.) to ensure effective tactical development & implementation

You will need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree (science or business field preferred)
  • 5+ years marketing, agency, or consulting experience in biopharma
  • Experience developing marketing strategies and tactics, with a focus on solid implementation of tactics through a combination of individual and team efforts
  • Experience in and ability to collaborate in a matrix environment
  • Demonstrated success in managing multiple projects across functions, and working independently when appropriate
  • Consistent demonstration of learning agility and comfort working in fast-paced environment
  • Experience in managing external agencies and/or vendors on a day-to-day basis and budget management
  • High level of interpersonal skills and strong written/verbal communication skills
  • Ability to travel up to 20% of time

We would prefer for you to have:

  • Rare disease/high-value biologics experience
  • Hematology or oncology therapeutic area experience
  • A track record of developing and implementing marketing strategies and tactics that have delivered strong commercial results shown through ROI analysis
  • Strong scientific orientation and background
  • Experience launching or working with a newly launched product and/or global experience
  • Advanced degree (MBA preferred)
