Introduction to role:

Are you ready to apply your analytical expertise in a role that drives strategic and operational excellence? As an Assistant Manager in Brand Analytics, you will be a proactive internal consultant, designing commercial solutions and enabling data-driven decisions. This is a key role in our Commercial Organization, where your hands-on analytical skills will be crucial in supporting business opportunities, customer segmentation & targeting, patient analytics, and more.

Accountabilities:

You will be responsible for governing and coordinating the procurement of various datasets, designing and implementing analytical solutions, and working closely with Marketing, Medical, Market Access, Sales, Forecasting, and other Commercial Operations business partners. Your excellent communication skills will be essential in building effective business partnerships. You will also be required to continuously evaluate new quantitative analysis methods and technologies.

Essential Skills/Experience:

  • Quantitative bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university

  • 7+ years’ work experience with Reporting/Analytics teams, Digital Marketing Measurement, Business Services, or Advanced Analytics services preferably in Life Sciences Industry

  • - Certified professional in Analytics, Forecasting and AI/ML domain - preferably in pharma/health care domain

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Experience with IQVIA and other pharma data sets

  • Proficiency with Python, R, SQL, PySpark and big data technologies

  • Proven ability to learn in a rapidly evolving environment

  • Experience working in globally distributed team

  • Good experience in Pharmaceutical / Biotech / Healthcare analytics or secondary data analysis

  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with a significant number of business leaders and cross-functional business partners

  • Experience of working with multiple 3rd party providers, including information technology partners

  • An advanced degree is preferred (Master’s, MBA or PhD)

  • ML/DL skills are value adds

  • Knowledge of AZ brand and science is value add

  • Experience using Big Data and exposure with SPARK are all desirables
