As a Medical Science Liaison in our Oncology Business Unit, you will be the first point of contact for any medical/scientific aspect related to our assigned products. You will engage in Scientific Exchange with our teams, Key External Experts, Health Care Professionals, and Clinical Investigators. This is an opportunity to positively impact the lives of all people affected by cancer and make a difference for as many people as possible.

Accountabilities:

You will report to the MSL Manager Gynaecological – Genito-Urinary Cancer and engage with external specialists to identify medical unmet needs and evidence gaps. You will deliver presentations in a non-promotional scientific context as determined by global and local Medical Affairs plans. Your role will involve providing medical input to Competitive Intelligence Department, developing and maintaining contacts with Key External Experts, providing input and support to Medical Advisors/Medical Lead and Clinical Operations Team, collecting and discussing proposals for independent studies, identifying local medical needs and defining a Local Field Medical Plan, managing a local medical budget, building partnerships with Area Business Manager, supporting Regional Access Managers and Local Access Managers, managing medical information requests, acting as country delegate for assigned GMT activities, and managing all activities and Account relationship according to Company Values, Code of Conduct, Guidelines/Internal procedures and Italian legislation.

Essential Skills/Experience:

- Scientific Degree, Master or Doctorate Degree in the relevant field of study, Medical Oncology Degree

- Previous experience as MSL or Medical Advisor or other activities within the Medical Department roles

- Experience in the oncology field

- Fundamental knowledge of basic research, drug development, clinical environment

- Detailed knowledge of the local regulatory requirements related to medical affairs activities

- Communication skills, including communicating detailed technical, scientific, or medical information

- Ability to work in team

- Leadership capabilities, interpersonal and entrepreneurial skills

- Project management experience

- Proficiency in written/spoken English and Italian

- Domicile in Emilia Romagna

Desirable Skills/Experience:

- Previous experience in Gynaecological – Genito-Urinary Cancer

- Experience in mapping new TA(s) and product launch preparation and execution
