Strategy Implementation and Change Manager

Introduction to the Role
As a Strategy Implementation and Change Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving the effective implementation, integration, and adoption of OKRs (Objectives and Key Results) across IT and supporting their adoption in other SET area functions. This role requires a strategic focus combined with hands-on coaching to embed OKRs into daily operations, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and fostering a results-driven culture. Additionally, you will develop and lead robust Change Management capabilities across IT, acting as a coach and strategic advisor to support functions in navigating and implementing change. This includes building resilience, fostering adaptability, and ensuring the sustainable adoption of new strategies and practices.
Key Accountabilities

Lead OKR Implementation in IT and Other SET Area Functions:
- Drive the implementation of OKRs within IT functions and provide coaching and facilitation to teams at all levels for successful adoption.
- Support non-IT functions across AstraZeneca in adopting OKRs.
- Assist IT2030 Priority Leads and working groups in embedding OKRs into the IT strategy program.
- Provide advisory support for teams to apply the end-to-end strategy deployment process and tools.
- Manage the enterprise OKR process network (functional coach/implementation leads).
- Conduct OKR Coach and Champion training, and ‘Train the Trainer’ sessions.
- Analyze and identify improvement opportunities within the OKR implementation program.
- Lead and manage change plans to ensure successful adoption of strategy deployment processes/OKR methods.
- Proactively manage communications about the OKR method and WorkBoard service to raise capabilities across the organization.
- Support consistent service delivery by addressing OKR-related customer requests and incidents.

Lead Change Management Capability Uplift in IT:
- Develop and lead end-to-end Change Management plans and implementation for Project Support.
- Conduct Change Impact Assessments, Stakeholder analysis and management, sponsorship coaching, training, communications, adoption metrics, and reinforcement.
- Mentor and guide project resources to successfully land change efforts.
- Evaluate Change Management intervention outcomes and course-correct when needed.
- Facilitate alignment sessions with senior leadership (sponsors, key stakeholders, etc.).
- Develop and lead strategies for Change Management upskilling across IT.
- Act as a liaison between business and IT functions to align and standardize ways of working.
Essential Skills/Experience
- Proven experience in applying strategy deployment methods and tools.
- Demonstrated experience in leading Change Management initiatives.
- Strong coaching and facilitation skills.
- Experience influencing and presenting to senior leaders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
- Strong presentation skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a strong customer focus and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and drive functional alignment across functions.
- Capability to work well in diverse, global teams and influence others to achieve positive outcomes.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Desirable Skills/Experience
- BA/BSc degree.
- Experience in implementing the OKR methodology.
- Familiarity with OKR software tools, such as WorkBoard.
- Accreditation/certification in Change Management methodologies (e.g., Kotter/ADKAR).
- Experience in developing and delivering training.
- Analytical skills to provide insights for decision-making.
- Ability to interpret and communicate technical information in business language.
- Continuous improvement mindset and experience.
