The role
You have the opportunity to be involved in the next big thing, whilst making a significant difference to patients and wider society.
As a Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for the overall brand/indication strategy, marketing plan, and overall brand/portfolio performance. This role requires a deep understanding of market dynamics through data-driven customer and patient insights as well as insights on the competitive landscapes and healthcare ecosystems to drive success in the assigned therapeutic area.
You will lead cross-functional brand teams to ensure strategic and operational alignment in order to achieve an effective implementation of brand campaigns and transforming care initiatives resulting in high market impact to the benefit of patients. Best-in-class transforming care market expansion projects and digital and omnichannel marketing solutions will be at your hand and an essential part of the initiatives to enhance the end-to-end customer experience resulting in higher Share of Voice (SoV) and Guideline-Directed Medical Therapy (GDMT) driven prescription behaviour.

Driving brand performance and therapeutic area leadership by taking ownership for brand strategy development and drive internal alignment.
Lead and implement the utilization of integrated patient-centric Marketing Campaigns; Digital Marketing and Omnichannel Strategies together with the Innovation and Business Excellence (IBEX) team.
Segmentation, Targeting, and Positioning in support of Strategic Account Management.
Use your deep customer and patient insights including data analytics by using marketing automation tools to facilitate data-driven decisions.
Conduct comprehensive market research, competitive analysis, and market segmentation.
Stay updated on impacting factors as e.g. changing buying processes, industry guidelines and healthcare policies.
Define and lead Transforming Care by collaborating with relevant key stakeholders and patient organizations.
Role model cross-functional informal leadership and communication.
Demonstrate AZ values, ethics, and compliance within all business practices, in alignment with the AZ Governance Framework, internal standards and policies, and external regulations.
What We Need From You

Essential experience:
Demonstrated Pharma marketing and sales experience (7 years+)
Significant prior launch experience
Strong strategic and analytical skills
Validated execution skills – effectively implement the strategy
Experience with account working and digital channels
Proven project management skills
Ability to lead and influence without authority
Innovative and digitally savvy
Excellent collaboration skills
Proficient in Danish and English language
Good knowledge of market ethical rules
Desired experience:
MBA or equivalent experience
Experience from multicultural or international business environments
Experience from Market Access or Medical Affairs
Pharmaceutical sales experience
Extensive digital campaign delivery
Prior therapy area experience would be desired
Delivery and impact from transforming care initiatives
