In this role, you will be responsible for supporting our customer at their site and may perform the job functions of Coordinators, Technicians, Material Handlers or Glass Washers when scheduled vacations, leave and/or emergency situations occur. What we’re looking for:

• University degree in science or equivalent relevant experience
• Knowledge in a related field such as Occupational Health & Safety
• 3 -5+ years' experience in Inventory control/procurement/shipping and receiving/Inside Sales, etc.
• Computer knowledge including Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
• Knowledge of Information Access and System ESS; proficient Microsoft Office and computer skills.
• Knowledge of IATA, DOT, OSHA Right to Know, IMDG.
• Conform to all customer requirements for background checks, health and safety issues, security clearances and medical checkups.
• Valid Driver’s License and transportation
• Prior experience with VWR products and services preferred.
• Excellent time management, communication, and organization skills.
• Must be exceedingly flexible, forward- thinking, motivated, and have the ability to act independently.

How you will thrive and create an impact:

• Perform all duties associated with operations of Site Services.
• Work closely with management to complete projects such as Standard Operating Procedures, Scopes of Work, Training, and other assorted tasks along with direct customer interfacing relative to job functions.
• Interface directly with customer point-of-contact, purchasing directors, facility directors and plant managers etc. to procure lab supplies and material.
• Utilize Avantor and customer computer systems and applications.
• Modify, design, and maintain quality metrics and key performance indicators.
• Meet safety, performance and quality goals and objectives.
• Requires traveling to customer site.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
