Job Purpose:

This position is responsible for frontline sales activities for the assigned territories in North region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Achieve sales targets from assigned Territory. High Focus in Academia, Pharma, CRO & Food market from North Region. Explore markets like Academia/Omics, small molecule pharma, Biopharma and Food for MS opportunities.
  • Promoting new MS applications to existing customers, increasing their current scope of usage of the instruments and generation of new opportunities in same accounts.
  • Knowlege of Government Tender business.
  • Provide support to Credit Collections team for recovery of payment, agency commission and EMD
  • Work closely with marketing team to improve funnel health and win rate. Expertise on Funnel Management tool.

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

  • Graduate in Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Analytical chemistry or life sciences. Postgraduate in management from a good B school can be of added advantage.
  • Min 6-8 years of experience in a B2B, commercial/Corporate sales for high value capital products.
  • Exposure to sales of mass spectrometry or related instruments (GC, LCMS) is highly desirable; experience in sales of high value capital equipment is essential
  • Excellent communication skills (written, oral, presentation) and good command over the English Language
