This position is part of the Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs group located in Coralville, IA, USA and will be hybrid. At IDT, we are one global team. We celebrate our differences, engage in healthy debate, and are inclusive. Together, we accomplish great things.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Assist with maintaining SDS databases and authoring of GHS/CLP/OSHA compliant SDS and certifications for a diverse range of IDT’s substances and mixtures globally for new and existing products.

  • Interact and form constructive cross-functional relationships with stakeholders within Quality, Marketing, R&D, Systems Engineering and Operations

  • Monitor and report status on existing and emerging global requirements with potential to impact IDT products, effectively communicate to management for consideration of impact to the business.

  • Provide guidance applicable to labeling of products, which include hazardous chemical components, and completion of compliance questionnaires, as assigned.

  • Assess product chemical composition and classify the products in line with applicable country regulations

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field such as chemistry, biochemistry, biology, or related work experience.

  • 1-2 years of experience in regulatory/EHS/compliance role.

  • Previous work experience in a regulated or standardized environment (i.e. ISO 9001/ISO 13485).

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Use or knowledge of SAP and/or UL WERCS
