The Product Manager Virus Filtration for Cytiva is responsible for Creating and maintain the virus filter portfolio business plan, including product strategy, new product developments, pricing, all stages of a product family’s lifecycle, Cross functional communication including operational involvement.

This position is part of the product management organization located in multiple countries and will be fully remote. At Cytiva, our vision is, to advance future therapeutics from discovery to delivery.

What you will do:

• Provide oversight product strategy and expertise for Virus Filter products. Function as the point of contact for questions and problem solving for internal business partners and external customers.
• Responsible for the virus safety portfolio and comply with all site Quality Management System requirements.
• Seek new market opportunities for portfolio innovation, guide Engineering and suppliers in the design of new product features and manage the development through a stage gated process.
• Maintain the product portfolio by portfolio optimization and sustainability programs through the complete post launch product Life cycle management.
• Engage with our customers on virus- filters to translate their business requirements and customer problems into problem statements and product concept maps for our research and development teams
• Be responsible for bringing the products to market including documentation and marketing material, strategy, and campaigns.
• Partner with marketing to create compelling customer facing material, and commercial sales tools. Also, establish and maintain strong working relationships with commercial team members.

Who you are:

• Master’s degree in Business, Marketing or related life sciences discipline.
• Strong combined experiences of in practical bioprocess applications, marketing, product management or (technical) sales in the biopharmaceutical industry
• Strong analytical and process skills: technically regarding filterability as well as business intelligence analysis
• Excellent oral and written communications skills in English to deliver content for documents and presentations.
• Ability to multi-task and handle tasks with competing priorities effectively

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:

• Ability to travel up to 25% globally
• Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Bioprocessing process development
• Virus safety
• (Technical) sales of bioprocessing equipment or consumables
