We are currently seeking a Sr. Manager, PSI Planning for a critical, highly visible role that is responsible for leading and driving improvements in our monthly Production, Sales, and Inventory (PSI) planning (or Sales, Inventory, & Operations Planning - SIOP) process with support from manufacturing, sales, and supply chain teams. This position is also responsible for translating the output of the PSI process to schedule all production in upstream manufacturing and for providing strategic oversight of finished goods scheduling to ensure flow throughout the manufacturing process.

What we’ll get you doing:

  • Lead the PSI process with support from manufacturing, sales, and supply chain/material management teams to review performance against schedule, inventory strategy, and supply plan to meet demand.

  • Propose critical business tradeoffs based on input from key stakeholders to the Phenomenex Leadership team.

  • Create the rolling 12-month Master Production Plan for upstream manufacturing

  • Work with our Supply Chain team to develop inventory targets and manage production output to achieve targeted inventory levels on both a cost and unit basis.

  • Maintain finished goods inventory at target levels to ensure product availability and increase on time delivery to customers

  • Management of downstream manufacturing scheduling team for finished goods scheduling to maintain inventory levels

  • Monitor actual output versus the Master Production Plan and utilize the Danaher’s Problem-Solving Process (PSP) to identify gaps, determine root cause, and implement countermeasures.

The essential requirements of the role include:

  • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in any relevant field; A Master’s or MBA highly preferred

  • At least 5 years of experience in a Planning, Supply Chain or Manufacturing role

  • Strong organizational skill: plans and assigns resources in a detailed fashion.

  • Proficient or Expert in Microsoft Excel

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Demonstrated competencies in operation of ERP systems (MRP) and software applications.

  • Proven ability to translate business objectives to effective operational plans and successful implementation of such plans.

The salary range for this role is $145k - $170k. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
