The Manager, Hardware Solutions Strategy is responsible for contributing to the strategic direction of Cytiva’s Hardware Solutions business. The manager will partner with senior leaders to define business priorities and inform key decisions, opportunities, and investments by effectively framing key questions and executing research to understand market trends, competition, and Cytiva’s position.

This position reports to the Vice President, Strategy and will work very closely with all other strategy teams across Cytiva. This is an onsite role and can be located in the company’s central hubs (Marlborough MA, USA; Amersham, United Kingdom; Uppsala, Sweden).

What you will do:

• Support the formation of a coherent 3–5-year strategic plan in collaboration with business leaders during the annual strategy process

• Drive or support strategic initiatives that improve Cytiva’s capabilities and/or drive further clarity in Commercial, R&D, Innovation, and portfolio strategy beyond the annual strategic plan

• Coordinate and conduct market, competitor, and business analyses, both qualitative and quantitative, across regions and customer segments, to support strategic planning, decisions, and initiatives, in alignment with other workstream leaders

• Support the assessment of key decisions, opportunities, and investments: Contribute to evaluating the situation, making recommendations and mobilizing Cytiva’s response

• Maintain alignment with other business units and functions: Build strong relationships with business unit and functional teams to become a go-to partner for these teams and strategic topics

• Ensure the development of clear, concise, data-driven presentations to senior leaders that effectively convey answers, recommendations, and insights leveraging data and analytics

Who you are:

• Undergraduate degree in a scientific or technical field with 3+ years of top tier consulting or corporate strategy experience, ideally with a focus in the Life Science industry or MBA/graduate degree with 2+ years of top tier consulting or corporate strategy experience, ideally with a focus on the Life Science industry

• Sharp business acumen, analytical and critical thinker, with the ability to truly understand customer needs. Fundamental understanding of the drug development process required along with expertise in bioprocessing is preferred

• Strong project management, leadership, and facilitation skills, including experience with matrixed stakeholder structures

• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with a broad array of stakeholders and gain alignment across all levels of the organization

Travel Requirements:

• Ability to travel – 20% domestically/internationally per business needs

The salary range for this role is $120,000 - $160,000 USD per year. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
