Job Summary :
The position of Senior Area Sales Manager has been created to support our sales team in driving business growth for the region. The role will be responsible for creating new opportunities and maximizing revenue potential within the assigned territory through effective relationship management and market penetration.

Key Responsibilities:
• Identify new business opportunities by building relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers across multiple levels of the healthcare ecosystem.
• Work closely with existing customers to ensure satisfaction and retain their loyalty while exploring cross-sell and up-sell opportunities.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key opinion leaders and thought leaders in the medical fraternity to understand their needs and provide solutions accordingly.
• Collaborate with internal teams such as Marketing, Product Management, and Operations to drive sales initiatives and promote products effectively.
• Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activity, and customer preferences to stay ahead of the curve and anticipate future needs.
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales data, and other relevant information using CRM tools.
• Achieve and exceed quarterly/annual sales targets set for the region.
• Manage and mentor junior members of the sales team, providing guidance and support to help them achieve their goals.
• Create and implement effective sales strategies tailored to the specific needs of each account, ensuring alignment with overall corporate objectives.
• Build and maintain strong partnerships with distributors and channel partners to enhance product visibility and reach.

Qualification & Experience:
• Bachelor's degree in any discipline or related field preferred.
• Proven track record of success in senior sales positions, ideally in the healthcare industry.

.OR experience is must with good experience preferably in medical devices
• Strong understanding of the healthcare ecosystem, including hospital administration, procurement processes, and regulatory frameworks.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust quickly.
• Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite and CRM software applications.
• Knowledge of regional languages would be desirable but not mandatory.
