General Description:

A great opportunity to join BeiGene Nordics as Key Account Manager (KAM) at an early stage of establishment within oncology in Sweden, Norway and the other Nordic Countries. Looking for a truly passionate and empathic individual with solid experience, established stakeholder network and knowledge about the local and regional Norwegian and Swedish healthcare system. You love to engage with stakeholders at all levels with the aim of ensuring access to our innovative treatments to patients, as well as strategically and professionally continue to establish BeiGene in the oncology community. As KAM you will implement the performance strategy and be responsible for achieving defined sales targets within an agreed expense budget. In addition, you will support and advise the key account customers in your territory in an appreciative, open-minded, and honest manner. Customers may be stakeholders at different levels but primarily HCPs and nurses, as well as payers at local and regional level.

Essential Functions of the job:

  • Develop and execute strong national plan with cross-functional support. The objective is to build customized stakeholder engagement plan that drive best-in-class service, engagements, execution, and impact.
  • At an early stage, support with key stakeholder dialogue in Sweden.
  • Using expertise in oncology and be a go-to scientific and patient care resource for stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with health system partners, health care practitioners (HCP), regional advocacy groups, and relevant stakeholder groups in the region to support best-in-class oncology care and education with the patient always at the center.
  • Building a BeiGene image/brand and awareness for our company and our products in the hematology-oncology market in Sweden.
  • Plan, identify, analyze, and implement regional and national activities and meetings.
  • Responsible to ensure that the target customers are updated on our product strategy and communication, including regional budget holders to generate/validate payor projects and solution.
  • Collaborate with regional and national Key Opinion Leaders, Head of Clinics and Expert/Therapy group members and prescriber target groups.
  • Scientific expert advice and support of opinion leaders and medical oncologists in hospitals.
  • Responsibility for the regional sales goals and qualitative performance parameters, as agreed with manager.
  • Development, implementation, and execution of projects to optimize patient care in collaboration with our key customers: Use and apply in suitable situations the Project Management to cooperate and develop the Key Account Customers
  • Participation and customer care in local, national, and international meetings and symposias
  • Ensure compliance within all activities to maintain the highest standards of patients focused ethical conduct in line with our values.
  • Consistently ensure operating in accordance with BeiGene´s Standards of conduct and all applicable local laws and regulations.

Qualifications

  • Life science degree (university, college) or equivalent professional experience
  • Several years of qualified work experience as commercial representative, preferably in the oncology market
  • Expertise in Norwegian and/or Swedish Health Care System and it´s relevant stakeholder´s and processes.
  • Scientific education and experiences in this or similar positions
  • Specific knowledge in oncology and distinct knowledge in project management is desirable
  • Strong identification with BeiGene´s values and loyalty to the company
  • Willingness to learn and continuously develop (trainings and coaching’s)
  • Demonstrated success in a small but fast growing, entrepreneurial commercial environment is desirable
  • Making things happen, has the right level of implementation skills
  • Marketing and commercial-oriented thinking and working
  • Excellent reliable contacts with opinion leaders in the relevant indications (special knowledge in the field of lung and/or esophageal cancer) is an advantage
  • Knowledge of the regional budget processes and distribution structures
  • High social competence and capacity for teamwork
  • Highly motivated, solution oriented and a positive attitude

  • Native in Norwegian or Swedish and with good English and computer skills
  • Willingness to travel
  • Valid driver’s license

Education Required:

University undergraduate degree in science or business preferred; higher qualifications (MD, PhD, MBA) advantageous.

Computer Skills: Standard Computer Skills required (MS Office)

Other Qualifications: Fluency in both verbal and written Norwegian or Swedish and English.

Travel: Approximately 50% of time
