The Opportunity
Asuragen, a Bio-Techne brand, is a molecular diagnostic company focused on genetics, oncology and companion diagnostics. The Operations department is seeking a detail oriented individual who excels in a team environment to fill the Manufacturing Technician role in our production team. This role will support downstream production where qualified reagents are processed into finished kits.
What You’ll Do
- Follow manufacturing protocols to fill, label and package reagents
- Maintain quality of manufactured products, record information accurately while following Good Documentation Practices as well as verify work performed by co-workers
- Document non-conformances and deviations
- Perform re-work as required according to designated work instructions
- Coordinate and perform routine equipment maintenance
- Perform equipment validations as required
- Develop proficiency with the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system
- Perform timely and accurate work order and inventory transactions
- Maintain accurate inventory and perform cycle counts
- Elevate issues and/or improvements in order to enhance the effectiveness of the team
- Receive general instructions on routine work and detailed instructions on new assignments
- Perform general lab maintenance, cleaning and organization
- Execute work in a safe manner, notifying management of safety issues and risks
- Perform all other duties as assigned

- Familiarity with ERP systems, particularly QAD a plus
- Knowledge of cGMP, GLP, ISO, CE or other regulated environments a plus
