Position Summary

This individual will fill an important support role on the BioTissue Ocular Marketing Team, including working closely with the extended marketing and sales teams. The position will report to the Sr. Marketing Manager/Director/Sr. Director of Ocular Marketing. The role will focus on driving downstream product strategy and execution to grow revenue for AmmnioGraft and AmnioGuard. The Marketing Manager will have full autonomy to lead all designated Marketing responsibilities. Working closely with cross-functional team members, this role has both strategic and tactical responsibility for executing product marketing and influencing clinical marketing and Key Opinion Leader (KOL) management to achieve revenue objectives.

Additional responsibilities may also include ownership and support for product launches and participation with the marketing team in Voice of Customer (VOC) and message testing research with clinicians and patients. This individual will support initiatives to leverage physician practice and patient insights to develop innovative patient education and awareness programs.

As the position will have close interaction with a field-based sales force, it is imperative that this individual operates with a “can do” attitude and is excited to provide a high-touch customer service experience with this important internal marketing customer.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Create well-defined marketing plans to attain product lead targets and achieve revenue goals, including program components, deliverables, offers, metrics, and timing.
  • Communicate the BioTissue Ocular value proposition to the sales team and develop the sales tools that support the sales process.
  • Drive program efficiencies based upon performance & ROI metrics; apply marketing intelligence to optimize programs and establish customer and prospect profiles
  • Ability to drive market adoption of existing product lines
  • Own program content development, determine content topics, work with current and prospective customers, internal and external resources to develop content and produce program deliverables.
  • Build and/or supervise day-to-day project management of marketing programs to ensure corporate objectives and strategies are executed in support of objectives.
  • Manage or participate in other Marketing projects as needed.
  • Assist with organizing and executing Professional Education events, supporting the field, and helping to gather VOC input.

Descriptor Essential Duty Definition

In collaboration with the Sr. Marketing Manager/Director/Sr. Director of Ocular Marketing, develop product positioning and messaging that differentiates BioTissue Ocular surgical product franchises (AmnioGraft and AmnioGuard).

Support lead generation & event management; guide event execution according to planned ROI objectives for AmnioGraft and AmnioGuard specifically and ensure that they are aligned with overall marketing plan details and goals; collaborate and drive event promotional plans in coordination with the events management and digital

Develop sales and clinical tools in collaboration Medical Affairs to drive differentiation and education to the sales team and customers.

Primary contact for product inquiries from sales teams and customers, provide Marketing presence and support in the field, partner with the Sales Training Team to support training programs, generate and deliver content as needed. Understand the competition and provide market intel to the Marketing and Leadership teams.

Management and development of KOL relationships, quarterly visits with top product users, manage webinar logistics, interact with the Professional Education team to support peer-to-peer collaboration, assist with Marketing support and presence at Local Speaker Events.

Help to drive social media presence in collaboration with the Digital Team. Leverage digital platforms to be inclusive in all Marketing efforts.

Ensure focused marketing programs are within budget.

Degree/Diploma Obtained

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent Business Administration, Marketing, or related field

Minimum Years Of Experience

  • 4+ years - Developing and implementing downstream product marketing programs as well as delivering measurement and execution systems.
  • 4+ years - B2B marketing programs in Life Sciences, Healthcare, or other medical device.

  • Can analyze organizational objectives and combine these with knowledge of the industry, market, and organization to develop short and long-term strategies.

  • Proven ability to deliver plans that drive growth in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment.
  • Exceptional project management skills with demonstrated ability to deliver on-time and on-budget.
  • Strong aptitude for determining the optimal way to position products in the market.
  • Excellent communication skills (oral/written).
  • A self-starter with detail-orientation and an entrepreneurial spirit required. Proficient in Microsoft software applications: Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Web Analytics and Google Adwords.
  • Experience with CRM ( Salesforce ) and Digital Marketing is a plus. Travel Requirements
