About This Role

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the continuous 24/7 operation of all utilities, including Black Utilities, Clean Utilities, and HVAC systems, through SCADA monitoring systems like DeltaV and Siemens Desigo. You will support maintenance and revision work, including repairs, adjustments, and the assembly/disassembly of equipment and installations. Operating within shifts, you will follow the operation plan and instructions from the shift lead.

You will serve as the point of contact for Utilities Operations and Instrumentation & Controls (I&C) outside of regular working hours, and assist in both preventive and corrective maintenance and calibration activities. Your responsibilities will include diagnosing and resolving technical equipment issues with priority, maintaining accurate logbook records, and executing alarm suppression/reactivation as per the operational plan.

Additionally, you will perform routine operations such as sanitization, sampling, and data transfer, along with regulatory PM tasks like boiler checks and safety shower maintenance. Daily site walkdowns, tank farm management, and waste management support are also part of the role. You will document all inspection, operation, and maintenance activities through the CMMS logbooks, ensuring adherence to technical, safety, and quality standards. In the absence of the shift lead, you will act as the deputy, taking on leadership responsibilities as needed. Other tasks related to Utilities systems may be assigned by the supervisor.

What You'll Do

  • Operate and troubleshoot Black utilities, Clean Utilities, HVAC systems.
  • Document in CMMS all activities performed following Biogen procedures and template.
  • Follow the required training in accordance with assigned training matrix.

Who You Are

You are a proactive professional experienced in utilities operations and maintenance, including Black Utilities, Clean Utilities, and HVAC. You have hands-on SCADA experience, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage 24/7 shift work. Organizational skills, attention to detail, and adherence to safety and quality standards are essential.

Qualifications

  • Min 3 years of experience in operations of industrial systems, preferable related Pharmaceutical/Chemicals plants/FMCG.
  • Mechanical or technical training (maintenance specialist, engineering operating mechanics, etc. with certificate of competence recognized by the government or equivalent).
