About This Role:
As a Cyber Security Analyst in the Security IT team, you will delve into the complex world of security data to uncover trends, patterns, and potential risks that inform our risk management and cyber defense strategies. Your analytical prowess will enable you to interpret incidents, vulnerabilities, and security assessments, providing crucial insights that bolster our digital fortifications. Your role is vital in maintaining detailed documentation and methodologies, ensuring a transparent and replicable analysis process. By collaborating with stakeholders, you will craft and present comprehensive reports, including risk assessments and return on investment analyses. This position is not only about technical acumen but also about agility, as you will navigate an ever-evolving and occasionally undefined landscape to protect our digital assets and support the organization's overarching objectives.

What You’ll Do:

  • Analyze security-related data from various sources to identify emerging threats, patterns, and areas of high risk.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of data sources, methodologies, analysis processes, and outcomes.
  • Collaborate with the cybersecurity team to identify security trends and anticipate potential risks.
  • Assist in refining security processes, tools, and metrics to align with organizational objectives and adapt to changing cyber threats.
  • Prepare and present analytical reports to stakeholders, articulating risk assessments and strategic recommendations.
  • Engage in continuous improvement efforts to enhance cybersecurity measures and responses.
  • Contribute to a culture of innovation and adaptability within the cybersecurity team.
  • Support the development of security metrics, dashboards, and analyses to measure effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Utilize common cybersecurity tools and platforms to support analysis and defense strategies.
  • Work in tandem with cross-functional teams to integrate cybersecurity considerations into broader organizational practices.

This role is in hybrid work model. Please note that this role requires a candidate to be a holder of work permit & residency in Poland.

Qualifications

  • Who You Are:
    You are someone with a passion for cyber security and a knack for turning data into actionable intelligence. You possess a unique blend of technical skills and analytical abilities, enabling you to detect and predict security trends effectively. Your communication skills are top-notch, allowing you to convey complex information clearly and compellingly to a diverse audience. You thrive in dynamic, fast-paced environments and are comfortable with ambiguity, ready to pivot as necessary to address new challenges and threats head-on.

    Required Skills:

  • 1-2 years of relevant experience.
  • Proficiency in cybersecurity principles, data science, and risk management practices.
  • Familiarity with security frameworks such as NIST and ISO.
  • Strong analytical skills with a track record in data analysis and interpretation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Adaptability and the ability to work in a rapidly changing environment.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with cybersecurity tools and platforms.
  • Prior experience in developing security metrics, dashboards, and ROI analysis.
  • Knowledge of scripting or programming languages used in cybersecurity analysis (e.g., Python, PowerShell).
