THE POSITION

The Compliance Manager is a trusted business partner, playing a crucial role in guiding colleagues to make conscious, risk-based decisions while conducting business with integrity. In this role, you will join our Legal & Compliance Department in our office in Milan, reporting to the Head of Compliance. You will contribute to designing, enhancing and monitoring an effective compliance program to ensure our internal processes and control adhere to legal requirements, industry standards and in-house policies.

Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement an effective compliance program, including initiatives to sustain integrity culture.
  • Evaluate business model and activities to assess compliance risk
  • Proactively audit processes, practices, and documents to identify weaknesses
  • Draft and revise compliance-owned policies
  • Create sound internal controls and monitor adherence to them
  • Set plans to manage a reported case or compliance violation
  • Collaborate with other departments, to develop user friendly solutions and address employee concerns
  • Educate and train employees on regulations and industry practices


Requirements

  • Master's Degree, ideally in a scientific, legal or financial field
  • Proven experience of 5 years in managing compliance
  • Excellent presentation, communication and negotiation skills in both Italian and English
  • Strong analytical and data driven skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and delve into problems to find effective solutions
  • Proven networking skills, particularly in identifying, engaging, and managing internal and external stakeholders
  • Methodical and diligent approach with exceptional planning abilities
  • Strong business acumen paired with a strong commitment to legality, providing a balanced perspective in decision-making
