Job Summary

  • Leads Market Access team to work closely with TA/Brand team to optimize China market access and business in China


Responsibilities:

  • Work cross-functionally to deliver the insights and anticipate market access involvement Market Access strategy aligned with clinical evidence, patient needs and commercial ambitions
  • Create a fully integrated China market access and affordability strategy and optimizes profitable access and affordability for company products
  • Lead development and management of portfolio pricing Strategy implementation
  • Lead the development of the payer value propositions for TA product and perform gap analyses in order to direct the development of Value Pack and Market Access toolkits in co-creation with cross functional team
  • Develop and execute innovative solutions and dossiers to support reimbursement negotiation including NRDL & Commercial insurance etc.
  • Leader interaction with HE experts
  • Strong collaboration with other teams under HAMA and cross functional team such as Marketing Medical & KA teams to maximize value offering to payers as well as best practice
  • Create long-range strategies and tactics to understand the evolution of access evidence needs and identify the appropriate capabilities and resources to address those needs to forecast
  • Perform gaps assessments for local capacity and capabilities based on business opportunities and engage with internal stakeholders for resource allocations
  • Coach, mentor, and develop team member including overseeing new employee onboarding and providing career development planning and opportunities
  • Close communication with HQ team providing China Market Access expertise and intelligence
  • Provide Market Access Assumptions into Business Financial Planning


Education:

  • Public health, medical or health economics background
  • At least Master degree in medical, public health or health economics, PhD in such areas is preferred
  • At least 10 years of working experience in pharmaceutical or medical area
  • Good knowledge of China health care system and global Market access trend
