Tasks & Responsibilities
This role will be part of the IT Marketing & Sales Customer Facing Excellence team. Our team delivers innovations in systems, applications, and tools which enhance customer experience, customer insight, and enables end-to-end marketing to sales customer engagement. You will be working on global projects and supporting the Japan business.
This role provides demand management, business analysis, domain architecture, project management and information technology-related services to assigned business clients; may also provide program management services.
Through ongoing consultation with business clients, this role identifies and analyzes business needs, influences, and negotiates scope and requirements, ensures adherence to enterprise architecture standards, and champions innovative process changes and/or technology-enabled solutions.
In this role, you will be responsible for the identification, analysis, and execution of business initiatives that leverage digital technologies to drive growth, brand equity, and compliance. In this highly collaborative role, this position will lead both internal resources and external partners throughout the system development process including architecture design, verifying the features, strategizing the rollout, and confirming the support model. This would include the ongoing maintenance, optimization, 3rd-level support facilitation and basic technology consulting with good understanding of M&S Japan’s system architecture.
Based on your knowledge, you ensure that appropriate systems and services are developed and delivered in an effective and efficient manner. You will act as Solution Architect throughout the complete product lifecycle by applying a combination of strategy, functional knowledge, and technology.
In addition, you will lead various programs and projects to foster innovation and create business value.
Requirements
⦿ Strong technical background. Bachelor's degree in engineering, science, or IT-related field WITH minimum 5 years of experience in a large and/or global business environment, including 3 years of experience leading business systems projects in conjunction with business process improvement, and decision-making support.
⦿ Strong understanding of pharma CRM solutions and processes, namely VeevaCRM
⦿ Strong integration skills. Understanding of data flow. Experience in how to integrate with business owned systems.
⦿ Strong experience in system analysis, design, and implementation.
⦿ Fluent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Japanese.
⦿ Having solid technical know-how to understand and work hands on for
- The local business owned system landscape
- How data are flowing between local systems (IT/Biz owned) for maintaining/fixing the business processes partially with support from Integration/Reporting platform
- Local demands to be translated into the global application landscape supplemented by local applications where it may rather make sense
- Overlap and technology fit of global vs. local solutions and continuous improvement of the overall landscape
- Strong business process knowledge especially Sales area, and a demonstrated capability to apply technology solutions in addressing business issues.
- Demonstrated project management capability based on the successful completion of projects
- Demonstrated problem solving ability, including strong conceptual and analytical skills and ability to turn findings into executable plans.
- An entrepreneurial mindset, self-motivation, and self-starter.
