Looking for a role where you are leader in the GBS Center Tax Services function and where the teams are responsible for direct and indirect tax-related activities across European countries in scope?

Tasks & Responsibilities
- As a (Senior) Tax Services Team Manager, you are responsible to ensure that all accountabilities within countries in your scope of service are generated accurately, in due time, and cost-efficiently by the assigned employees
- You oversee and monitor the teams and overall Tax Services processes execution for all service-receiving countries
- You are responsible for the work preparation regarding tax compliance matters (e.g. data gathering, reconciliation, etc.)
- You take over cross-functional responsibility for management, preparation, and coordination of all direct and indirect tax activities for the countries in scope
- You proactively optimize complex tax topics in the area of CIT, WHT, VAT, Tax Accounting, etc
- You manage trainings of employees as well as the respective stakeholders in the GBS Center
- You ensure the correctness of tax compliance data through monitoring and performing certain checks
- You support in developing a standardized processes and procedures in the area of direct and indirect taxation
- You act as an interface for internal stakeholders within the GBS as well as locally concerning certain requests to direct and indirect taxation and other tax topics including tax technical know-how
- You guarantee compliance with relevant tax legislation rules including implementation of new requirements
- You have to follow all company procedures and processes with respect to Finance, Taxation, IT, etc
- You will work on projects and in the environment where we use targets to measure the service quality, ensuring process adherence and continuous improvement in run model
About our future employee:
You should be a motivated tax expert with broad taxation background and understanding of different professional and functional areas; speak English min. on C1 level and you should also have min. 5 years of professional experience in a tax consulting firm or a comparable position of an internationally operating company, preferably in a shared service set-up.
Additionally, we are looking for:
- Deep knowledge of ERP (SAP) and MS Office systems
- Extensive knowledge of taxation laws and operations as well as of relevant tax reporting requirements
- Master’s degree (MBA, M.A., LL.M.) in business administration or similar with a tax focus
- Ability to develop processes and concepts to transform changes in tax legislation into the business organization and systems
- Cross-functional knowledge and expertise in the area of finance and accounting
- Excellent leadership skills in a complex environment with several stakeholders
- Experience in successfully forming and leading a diverse team would be a strong asset
- Strong communication, interaction and presentation skills within the national and international organization (within the local and international organization as well as to headquarters)
- Excellent business English skills (read, write, speak); other language skills would be an asset
- Analytical and innovative thinking scope
- Intercultural competencies, ability to work in a team within international casted working groups
- Ability and duty of self-education
