The Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Software Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role will focus on creating advanced dashboards and developing solutions through PowerShell, MS Graph API, Power Automate, Logic Apps, Azure Functions, C# and etc. You will also be exposed to Microsoft 365 services such SharePoint-online, Teams, Exchange-online, Intune, Entra ID, Purview or Power Platform.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Design, troubleshooting, implementation, administration & operational 2nd level support of Boehringer Ingelheim’s heterogeneous system landscape
• Development of troubleshooting guides (run books) for the 1st tier operations support
• Maintenance and optimization of complex systems management platforms
• Lead & support of IT projects
• Provide training (knowledge hours) for IT colleagues and business users
• System and Software Documentation.
  
  
  

Requirements:

• Master’s degree in computer science / engineering, or comparable science degree with several years of relevant working experience
• 3-5 years of relevant work experience
• Good knowledge of the current operating systems such as Windows Server & Client OS & Linux
• Good knowledge of TCP/IP Networks and protocols (e.g. DNS, SMTP, HTTP)
• Excellent Scripting and Automation experience (e.g. PowerShell, MS Graph API, Power Automate, Logic Apps, Azure Functions, C#)
• Excellent knowhow on various Microsoft 365 Modules, e.g., SharePoint-online, Teams, Exchange-online, Intune, Entra ID, Purview or Power Platform
• Experience with OpenShift, Mongo DB and SQL DB’s and queries
• Proficiency in creating dashboards for service management and cost projection using PowerBI
• Familiarity with Microsoft Azure, particularly the Identity Governance Module
• Passion for software development
• Ability to work under pressure, with service orientation, the right sense of urgency and a reliable way of working
• Experience with prompting in AI tools (e.g. CoPilot, Gemini, ChatGPT)
• Good English skills (verbal and written).
