The Opportunity

We are looking for a Health Care Affairs-Innovation-Patient Engagement Manager SAGEA, to support the development and ensure flawless execution of Market Access plan, develop Healthcare Affairs and PAR strategies (Patients advocacy Relations). Key tasks include addressing Health care gaps, landscape and trends and appropriately position BI products for adoption, help shape healthcare environment to support patient access to our current and future HP product portfolio. Further, review developments at national level to understand risks and opportunities for Boehringer’s portfolio and support multiple Therapy Area objectives and patient/ patient organization needs and expectations, supporting building Patient centric culture.

This position is based at Riyadh and reports to the Head of Market Access - Healthcare Affairs Innovation Patient Engagement.

Local Job Grade: 5

Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Support the development of Market access plan in alignment with the regional & local guidelines/requirements
  • Develop Healthcare Affairs & Innovation strategy & plan by addressing trends and challenges impacting our business.
  • Manage strategic relationships with patient organizations & implement engagement initiatives by ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
  • Establish strong business relationship with key stakeholders positioning Boehringer as the trustful partners.
  • Align and collaborate cross functionally with ROPU MA-HAIPE brand team to support TA objectives and co-create sustainable, differentiated, integrated healthcare solutions to patients.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences
  • Master's degree in Economics or Health Economics is a plus
  • 6+ years of experience in a multinational pharmaceutical company
  • 3+ years of experience in Market Access and strong proven medical background within the region is a plus
  • Proficiency in English and Arabic, in its written and oral form is a must
  • Analytical skills to identify and interpret regulations in Market Access and Pricing
  • Effective communication with ability to build and maintain relationships
  • Capable of organizing, planning, and prioritizing workload
