The Global Artwork & Change Management Manager will ensure global printed packaging material development for launches and product changes and ensure the global governance of the graphic offices network. This role will ensure execution of Launch and change planning execution as well as ensure global alignment and shape the process of BI´s artwork and change management

The Global Artwork & Change Management Manager will act as, further develop and strengthen global center of competence on any labeling and artwork related topics. This role oversees and is responsible for entire clusters of change requests in the global execution of logistical implementation of launches, changes and withdrawals in the global supply chain systems. The incumbent will optimize related total costs of artwork files development by performing annual target setting for all graphic offices and defining as well as managing performance with all involved functions.

The Global Artwork & Change Management Manager will support the development of the new comprehensive solution for AH Launch and Change management by looking into the coordination of many existing workflows like product readiness, David, Go Track, etc. Jointly with HP, the incumbent will identify long term AH launch & change implementation requirements in alignment with QA/RA/Controlling/Business Mgt and address these change requirements with GBS/IT while managing interim processes within AH.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Represents Supply Chain functions in matrix organization on corporate and regional level including Steering Committees, Conferences, Strategy Workshops, Target Setting, Annual Discussions and Business Updates
  • Executes Business objectives and strategy through regular follow up actions management with Corporate Quality, Global Regulatory Affairs and internal/external partners
  • Supports/manages the interim change management workflow process while defining a future solution jointly with various stakeholders within the organization (QA/RA/GSM/GCB/GI etc.)
  • Acts as project manager for AH to consolidate all specific internal requirements and discuss those with GBS/HP/IT for their implementation
  • Project manages all necessary activities over the next five (5) years horizon to reach target state
  • Coordinates and implements product safety and security features according to authorities or business requirements
  • Initiates the implementation of the country regulatory requirements on packaging materials
  • Provides 2nd level support and ensure training of launch and change mgt system
  • Supports the Divisional Management System Owner role (MSO) for Graphic Offices management process
  • Selects, contracts and governs third party Graphic service providers
  • Manages and develops performance of Global and Local GOs and attend joint strategic meetings if required
  • Designs and reviews contractual agreements with GOs
  • Ensures compliant setup of new GOs
  • Guarantees cost control and process organization of worldwide graphic offices
  • Decides detailed plans for timely and efficient development of printed packaging materials based on launch and change plans
  • Provides information to and handle requests from Suppliers, customers, and Corporate Center Business and functions for all artwork related topics
  • Takes the leadership of all artworks related questions (e.g., component suppliers, GOs, tec.)
  • Provides artwork development for printed packaging material to achieve standardization and optimization (Process definition + improvement)
  • Ensures compliance to BI Design Guidelines in alignment with regulatory requirements, BIs requirements on software & version used for artwork creation
  • Governs and supports regional and local BI units regarding artwork and change management topics
  • Creates manual/guidelines/operating procedures on launch and change management/artwork management activities with strong technical knowhow and impact
  • Ensures appropriate training
  • Ensures the availability of Supply Chain Ops related master data in BIX@ in alignment with the master data management and product management teams to ensure launch readiness for the OPS network
  • Supports the implementation and the maintenance of the Quality Management System in global artwork, launch and change management and ensure Continuous Improvement thereof
  • Responsible for notification of potential quality / compliance gaps / risks to Global Process
  • Supports preparation of internal and external inspections / GxP audits
  • Supports the review of procedures for the organization as well as for the launch and change execution processes against external and internal GxP requirements
  • Implements new processes or process changes resulting on new / changed regulations


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related field
  • In addition to bachelor's degree, a minimum of five (5) years professional experience in end-to-end supply chain and/or in O2C/change management related functions
  • With Master's degree, a minimum of three (3) years professional experience in end-to-end supply chain and/or in O2C/change management related functions within a Bio-/pharmaceutical or FMCG company or similar organization.
  • Additional requirements include:
  • Ability to communicate with people at all levels, ranging from factory schedulers to high-level executives
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as the ability to effectively communicate with technical and nontechnical audiences
  • Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills, as well as good skills as a negotiator to reach consensus, alignment and commitment
  • International & inter-cultural negotiations skills, international exposure in daily business (>50% of international business/customers/staff)

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without restriction
  • Must be willing to take a drug test and post-offer physical (if required)
  • Must be 18 years of age or older


Desired Skills, Experience And Abilities

Additional Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for timely definition and implementation of CAPA tasks in GLAM
  • Provides information about GLAM specific internal and external new GxP regulations
  • Ensures the general compliance to procedures (SOPs, OCPs, OCSs) in LCS
  • Guarantees the knowledge and adherence to Procedures in GLAM
  • Contributes to complex supply chain improvement projects by designing and documenting new processes, performing fit-gap analysis during roll outs, conducting change management and training people
  • Responsible for the seamless support of the SC Planning area (Network tower and SC PM)
  • Ensures proper and timely processing of launch and change workflows and ensure right first-time process execution
