The hourly range listed is an estimate. Pay at Cardinal Health is determined by multiple factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s geographical location, relevant education, experience and skills and an evaluation of internal pay equity.
What Warehouse Operations contributes to Cardinal Health
Warehouse Operations is responsible for performing a combination of manual or automated tasks necessary for the receipt, storage, and shipment of product. This may include receiving product, fulfilling, packaging, and shipping orders within established team goals to ensure on time order delivery.

Responsibilities
- Facilitate and support all required EH&S and QRA training
- Assist with temperature monitoring and follow proper channels when discrepancies arise
- Ensure that Cardinal Health's core principles, policies and procedures are consistently practiced
- Lead and motivate the warehouse team to achieve productivity and quality goals.
- Coordinate workflow to accomplish overall business objectives
- Perform functional tasks whenever necessary to facilitate workflow
- Handle general employee inquiries and solve routine problems within scope of the position, collaborate with peers and leadership on more complex problems
- Embody our core VBO through your actions and treatment of others daily
- Promote an environment of teamwork and continuous improvement
- Support the supervisor by assisting in the monitoring of attendance/tardiness and providing firsthand input for performance appraisals
- Work closely with other leads and supervisors within the facility to promote teamwork and overall shift success
- Provide assistance in the orientation, training and development of new hires as well as the retraining of experienced employees
Qualifications
- Proficient in Microsoft office
- Ability to lift and carry, up to 50 pounds
- Comfort with heights up to 30 ft
- Ability to follow direction and change priorities
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Experience working with technologies, like computers or point of sale systems, a plus
