What Pharmacy Services & Delivery contributes to Cardinal Health
Responsible for the prompt and accurate delivery and distribution of radiopharmaceuticals or oncology pharmaceuticals to medical care providers in accordance with customer demand and requirements of the assigned route. Prepares doses for shipment, prepares cases, wipes doses, and loads and unloads containers in keeping with the prescribed safety standards and Department of Transportation (DOT).
Accountabilities:
- Organizes logistics of the delivery routes
- Responsible for deliveries on time
- Determines deliveries based on product expiration
- Prepares and makes deliveries to customer accounts on assigned route using a company vehicle
- Packages radiopharmaceutical medication for shipment, performs testing, and loads/unloads containers
- Processes packages returned from customer locations
- Maintains vehicles in proper working condition
- Performs general facility cleaning and other duties as required
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must hold a valid Puerto Rico driver's license and have a good driving record
- Prior delivery driving experience is a plus
- Ability to lift containers weighing up to 75 pounds
- Ability to sit, stand, be mobile and operate a vehicle for extended periods of time
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work holidays or weekends if necessary
- Candidate must be flexible to work different schedules between , hours or overtime based on business needs
- Must have basic computer skills
- Bilingual (English and Spanish) is preferred
- Horario: Turnos rotativos de lunes a viernes comenzando entre 7:30am a 8:30am y sabados alternos 12:00am a 4:00am. Candidato debe tener disponibilidad para cubrir turno de madrugada comenzando a las 12:00am de ser necesario.
