Supervisor, Application Development and Maintenance
Role Overview:
Cardinal Health is seeking an Supervisor, Application Development and Maintenance
who will be responsible for leading Integration solutions with keen focus on products, processes, and people. This role should possess strong interpersonal and leadership skills. The ideal candidate is an individual with customer focused mindset, hands-on skills, positive work ethic and a collaborative mindset who is willing to learn and adapt to evolving business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Solid background of delivering projects on time. Lead the initiation and planning of a project and ensure technical feasibility.
• Collaborate with Architect(s), Product Managers, Tech Leads, Dev Ops and Peer Product Teams effectively to determine project deliverables, milestones, and duration with time tracking.
• Assist and manage the product Roadmap and implementations.
• Facilitate/Collaborate for impacts across various cross functional teams and drives risk management
• Detail-oriented process improvers: Critical thinkers who naturally see opportunities to develop and optimize work processes – finding ways to simplify, standardize and automate
• Provide accurate project estimations, identify resources/competencies, develop the project plan, and deliver to the schedule. Ensure that risks and issues are identified and managed closely.
• People leader who drives performance People who leverage and build the talent of their team to consistently increase performance, engagement, and productivity
• Conduct performance evaluations, provide timely and frequent feedback and set objectives for team members
• Build and leverage cross-functional relationships to bring together ideas, data and insights to drive continuous improvement in multiple functions
• Hire, Develop & Retain strong team of engineers to build and deploy cutting edge and scalable solutions.
• Responsible for hiring right talent, providing timely and frequent feedback and set objectives for team members, career and skill development, coaching and mentoring of direct reports.
Qualifications:
• Degree in Computer Science or a related field
• Overall 10+ years of experience and 2+ years of leading technical teams of Java fullstack development
• 3+ years of experience in Software Project Management in challenging and evolving environment.
• Practical experience of Agile methodologies – SCRUM, Kanban, LEAN in complex environments
• Good knowledge of cloud computing technologies, Event Driven Architecture, Production support and micro-services development.
• Experience acting as Scrum Master and/or Agile Coach.
• Good project management and follow-up skills
• Strong People Management skills leading mid-size teams
• Agile/Scrum Certifications a plus
