POSITION: Junior Field Service Engineer

SALARY: $ 99,445/year

HOURS: 40 hours

DUTIES: Assist engineers to troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on NGS sequencing systems. Install/remove NGS sequencing systems at clinical sites. Characterize the performance of NGS for bioapplications. Coordinate with scientific staff to integrate intelligence and develop solutions. Conduct research on the engineering aspects of the biological systems. Assist in software design for microscope image processing and analysis to extract sequencing queries from images of biological materials. Participate in statistical analysis on sequencing experiment results.

REQUIREMENT:

Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering is required. And Requires knowledge:

• Trouble-shoot and repair electronic circuits to the component level & electro-mechanical systems, familiar with Altium, SOLIDWORKS & electronic testing equipment oscilloscopes, multimeter, logic analyzers, waveform generators, hand soldering circuit components & electrical wires.
• Knowledge of interpret electrical circuit and system schematics.
• Knowledge of computer hardware, Windows OS, and networking.
