We are currently looking for a Manager, Global Validation Transport to join the Global Packaging team. This role will be based either at one of the sites in Australia (Broadmeadows, Melbourne or Parkville) or China (Wuhan/Beijing).

This is a 12-month fixed term contract role.

Reporting to the Head of Global Transport Validation, you will be responsible for performing all activities associated with transport system qualification and transport lane analysis. This includes development and qualification of active, ambient, and passive thermal protection systems to maintain the high value of CSL's products throughout the supply chain up to the patient.

You will liaise closely with multi-disciplinary and international groups, in particular Logistics Enterprise, Global Packaging, Affiliates, Global Quality, manufacturing sites, ESI, and R&D.

The Role

Lead projects for identification, qualification and implementation of new shipping solutions
Continuous monitoring process for Australia domestic. Potentially extended to other markets in the future.
Support in the maintenance and/or responsible for creation of Shipping Matrix (Australia and Global)
Advising on the selection of suitable packaging solutions and applications for product launches, new and existing lanes including CMOs.
Ensuring product quality throughout the entire transport route by maintaining temperature requirements.
Preparation of relevant qualification documentation
Working with Logistics Enterprise, sites of manufacturers, CMOs, and 3PL for qualifications and implementation of shipping solutions.
Evaluating and implementing corrective actions to resolve transportation discrepancies.
Participation as subject matter expert in external (e.g.TGA, FDA, PEI, RP and Swiss Medic) regulatory inspection and customer audits.
Provide support for regulatory inspections, submission reviews, and product launches.

Your skills and experience

Bachelor's Degree preferably in business, packaging science, engineering, logistics, or a natural science.
5+ years' experience in logistics, quality, packaging, or related disciplines.
A minimum of 2 years' experience in project management, qualification and/or validation (supply chain area / transport validation a plus).
Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and operational activities simultaneously.
Ability to efficiently manage change in operations and organizations.
Cultural awareness, ability to create good working relationships across countries.
Flexibility to work in a global cross-cultural work environment and outside of normal business hours.
