The Opportunity:

The Senior Product Manager will be charged with leading and executing the consumer digital and omnichannel media strategy for HEMGENIX in the US. You will be responsible for using customer and market insights to challenge established thinking and solve brand issues in innovative ways; creating impactful, innovative marketing programs that effectively educate consumers about gene therapy and provide the facts about HEMGENIX for appropriate patients.

Day-to-day responsibilities include:

  • Developing impactful creative, messages, and core content aligned with the commercial strategy.

  • Evolving the patient experience based on educational and support needs throughout the journey.

  • Engaging Patient Advocacy Groups in a complaint manner to educate and patients about HEMGENIX.

  • Leading cross-functional team members including patient services, patient engagement, insights & analytics, and the field sales organization to drive key insights and customer driven decisions for the brand.

The Role:

  • Leverage existing and emerging technologies to identify opportunities to reach and engage target consumers.

  • Direct media agency to develop efficient, effective, and novel media strategies that optimize media mix across the omnichannel landscape including social media, website, mobile, email/CRM and point of care.

  • Drive measurement and improvement of the effectiveness of promotional education content and resources/programs.

  • Identify current and future market opportunities as well as competitive threats to category leadership, with a focus on digital innovation.

  • Build effective working relationships with key internal and external customers, including cross functional partners, thought leaders and patient advocacy groups.

  • Collaborate with IDELVION team to ensure a one-CSL approach to customers.

  • Brand team lead for patient services activities including HEMGENIX Connect support operations, patient assistance programs, co-pay support programs and reimbursement support.

  • Develop and advance an optimized CRM strategy and content development in a manner that integrates the totality of the patient journey to ensure the best possible personalized patient experience.

  • Manage the internal legal, regulatory, and medical review and approval of new materials to enable responsible and compliant consumer communications.

  • Manage budgets and closely monitor performance, ensuring cost-effective delivery of all programs.

  • Support annual brand planning, agency management, patient meetings, and budget management.


Your skills and experience:

  • Bachelors' degree in life sciences or healthcare discipline; MBA preferred

  • 7+ years' healthcare experience with 5+ years' commercial marketing experience in pharmaceutical, biotech or medical device industry

  • Experience applying market research with an understanding of relevant pharmaceutical marketing tools effective within the respective region

  • Strong marketing acumen with a solid grasp of marketing strategy, market research, segmentation, brand positioning, and tactical plan development.

  • Experience developing and executing a wide range of successful online and offline tactics, including digital, print, video, and CRM.

  • Exhibiting passion and empathy to build meaningful experiences with consumers by understanding their needs and desires.

  • Experience marketing directly to consumers/patients.
