To support our team in Translational Research within the Research & Development department, we are looking for a Laboratory Technician

Role and Responsibilities:

  • you will undertake laboratory work in the fields of cell biology, immunology, and biochemistry.
  • You will be involved in the development and maintenance of new laboratory methods and procedures.
  • You will be responsible for a variety of routine and non-routine laboratory operations in research setting.
  • You will use laboratory methods in field of Research, incl. immunological tests, bio-molecule characterization, flow cytometry, cell culture, sterile work, protein chemistry and haematology).
  • You will be responsible for the Laboratory organization; incl. evaluation of new equipment or products for their suitability for Translational Research and Research BRN
  • You will coordinate sample management, incl. (pre-)clinical study samples (entry control, storage, initial and follow-up documentation)
  • You will be responsible for chemicals.
  • You will document results and evaluations according to our quality system.

Background education and experience:

  • You have a completed training as a biology laboratory technician or a comparable education and experience in immunological methods.
  • You have a previous laboratory experience in biomedical research or a clinical laboratory.
  • You are familiar with Western blotting, ELISA, cell cultures, and FACS analyses.
    Knowledge of GRLP and other applicable regulation
  • good MS Office skills
  • Good language skills in German and English
