Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated, curious, and hard-working professional research assistant to join the researcher-practitioner Wildfire Research (WiRē) Team.

The University of Colorado Boulder is committed to building a culturally diverse community of faculty, staff, and students dedicated to contributing to an inclusive campus environment. We are an Equal Opportunity employer, including veterans and individuals with disabilities.

Who We Are

The WiRē Team supports development of evidence-based wildfire education programs. For more than a decade, members of the WiRē Team have collaborated to understand and further wildfire preparation and risk mitigation on private residential lands. Our work crosses conventional boundaries between practice and research, and our members come from multiple federal agencies, universities, and the non-profit risk mitigation sector. We work closely with wildfire practitioner partners through all stages of the research process to generate information and products that speak to both research and practice communities. The nonprofit arm of the WiRē Team is the Wildfire Research (WiRē) Center (www.wildfireresearchcenter.org).
