Job Scope

Direct all facilities projects and maintenance activity for Diasorin Molecular. Manage projects of all sizes and complexities to ensure on-time delivery. Supports applicable regulations including ISO, Local, State, and/or Federal requirements.

Key Duties And Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage all construction needs, remodeling, painting and refinishing of all buildings while ensuring that business in not disrupted and that the output is suitable for Diasorin Molecular's business needs.
  • Oversee and manage the coordination of all work order requests that are submitted to Facilities/Maintenance.
  • Oversee the maintenance for building air conditioners and fleet equipment.
  • Oversee routine inspections for opening and de-alarming the buildings; resolve apparent problems.
  • Oversee and manage all construction needs, remodeling, painting and refinishing of all buildings.
  • Oversee, monitor, and select outside contracted vendors.
  • Oversee the installation of all new equipment and ensures compliance with all applicable requirements.
  • Oversee preventative maintenance and calibration of Company equipment.
  • Oversee the maintenance of Company’s off site storage.
  • Responsible for performing assigned tasks in accordance with applicable safety regulations and instructions, as well as correcting unsafe work habits and practices and/or bringing to the attention of the Safety Team or a supervisor any practice or condition that may be detrimental to the safety and health of the employees. You also have a responsibility to cooperate in all safety or health-related programs and assist in solving safety and health problems. Violations of safety directives and procedures will be handled in accordance with the established Company disciplinary process.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Supervise a minimum of 3 non-exempt employees. Also responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of this Facility. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Education, Experience And Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree from a four-year college or university; required
  • Previous Facilities Management and experience required. required
  • 8+ Years experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. required
  • Ability to read and comprehend documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers, vendors, employees, managers and the general public.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as percentages, discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
