Job Summary:

The person in this role will be supervising associated manufacturing staff of moderate to high span of control and/or skill level. They will provide direct oversight to the Consumables Manufacturing area, and ensure facilities, resources, equipment, and documentation are in place to deliver cassettes to meet the Operations, R&D, and Engineering plans. Transfer of design, implementation of all necessary supplies, equipment, facility requirements, and new fixtures for manual, semi-automation and automation for the manufacture and test of a single use IVD cassette.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ensure resources are in place to deliver cassettes per plan.
  • Schedule and manage Direct Labor to meet the plan.
  • Participate in the management and maximization of operational efficiencies (material scrap, Direct Labor Inefficiencies) including the creation and management of Labor costs and Bill of Materials.
  • Train headcount on required procedures.
  • Participate in the development and management of the operational budget.
  • Establish and maintain a safe work environment.
  • Identify and implement operational efficiency to improve COGS.
  • Ensure employee and processes are following cGMP and QSR requirements and company policies.
  • Work cross-functionally with Engineering, R&D, Production Control, QA, Manufacturing Engineering, and Quality Control organizations.
  • Develop Training and Development Plans for all employees.
  • Collect, analyze, and present SPC data from the Manufacturing and Test of Cassette.
  • Document the investigation and resolution of problems initiated through non-conformances, corrective action, customer complaints, and/or audit findings.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education, Experience, And Qualifications

  • Associate's Degree Field of engineering or related field degree with equivalent amount of experience required or Bachelor's Degree Field of engineering or related field preferred
  • 1+ Years Relevant experience required with an Associate Degree. required
  • 1+ Years Relevant Manufacturing Operations leadership experience. required
  • 1+ Years Relevant experience in a manufacturing environment in an FDA regulated industry and/or ISO certified organization. preferred

What We Offer

Salary Range

The hourly range for this position is $70,000.00 - $117,000.00. The hourly range for this role represents the numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions including, but not limited to, educations, skills, work experience, certifications, etc. Beyond base salary, Diasorin offers a competitive rewards package focused on your overall well-being.
