The mission of Lilly’s Business Transformation Office is to inspire, encourage, and enable those throughout the company to adopt transformational ways of working to exceed patient’s needs, stakeholder’s expectations, and the realities of the marketplace. Our team consists of high-potential leaders who partner with Executive Committee members and other senior management to lead initiatives that generate significant value, efficiencies, and improved customer experiences. Through on the job experience and training, these select developmental opportunities prepare incumbents to lead complex transformational initiatives throughout the company and, in turn, accelerate their careers after Business Transformation. In doing so, these leaders learn how to formulate and to translate strategic thinking into operational improvements.
Business Transformation Senior Directors have the following responsibilities:
Build a strong portfolio of projects that accelerate productivity across Lilly’s strategic objectives.
- Engage internal and external partners to identify and then prioritize a portfolio of projects that align with the company’s overall mission and vision.
- Evaluate these initiatives based on their expected value and alignment with Lilly’s overall strategy.
Launch & Lead Business Transformation projects.
- Collaborate with leaders to align on and approve the scope, team members, timelines, and approach for each of your projects.
- Ensure all projects are implemented with speed and quality, and in collaboration with the business.
- Develop robust communication plans to business leaders, stakeholders, team members, and Business Transformation leader.
- Ensure gains are realized through the coordinated implementation of decisions and recommendations.
Lead Boldly
- Influence the organization to adopt transformational ways of working, which will better position the company to compete in the future.
- Contribute subject matter expertise from prior professional experiences and skills acquired during the Business Transformation role(s).

Minimum requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree required. Advanced degree (MBA, PhD, etc.) preferred.
- Five or more years of management consulting experience

Actual compensation will depend on a candidate’s education, experience, skills, and geographic location. The anticipated wage for this position is
$150,000 - $220,000Full-time equivalent employees also will be eligible for a company bonus (depending, in part, on company and individual performance).
