What We’re Looking For:

We are seeking a highly experienced, proven analytics leader who will report directly to the Associate Vice President, Assistant General Counsel – Integrated Risk Management. This position will play a critical role in integrating Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) data analysis and reporting for the newly established Integrated Risk Management (IRM) program. The IRM program has been created to oversee our organization's readiness and resilience against known and emerging risks. The IRM team is an essential component in enhancing processes for overseeing our organization's readiness and resilience against known and emerging risks, coordinating with other risk functions and business leads to ensure proper business continuity, crisis readiness, and risk mitigations. The IRM program will be anchored in GRC technology platforms that will provide front end controls and leadership insight into key risk indicators, and the Risk Analytics Lead will be responsible for the design of leadership-facing dashboards and related IRM reporting using these technology platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

Data Analysis:

  • Leads the development and execution of data analysis strategies to support the IRM program.
  • Collects, integrates, and analyzes risk-related data from various sources to identify trends and insights.
  • Develops predictive models and risk assessment tools, leveraging artificial intelligence (AI) as appropriate, to enhance risk forecasting and decision-making processes.
  • Ensures data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across all risk management technologies and activities.
  • Provides data-driven recommendations to improve risk management practices.
  • Develops, analyzes, and translates Key Performance Indicators (KPI) and Key Risk Indicators (KRI) data outcomes in a digestible and actionable manner.

GRC Technology:

  • Manages the implementation and optimization of GRC technology platforms for integrated risk reporting.
  • Design and maintain reporting frameworks within the GRC platform to provide consistent real-time risk insights.
  • Ensures seamless integration of data from various internal and external sources into the GRC system.
  • Actively monitors and evaluates GRC platform performance compared to the latest innovative solutions and external risk management benchmarking and recommends improvements to enhance reporting capabilities.
  • Acts as technical liaison for business stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical reporting specifications.

Data Visualizations and Reporting:

  • Generates reports and dashboards for senior leadership to effectively communicate risk data, trends, and insights.
  • Applies advanced data analytics tools and techniques to present complex risk data in a clear and concise manner to influence and optimize leadership’s attention to risk management strategies and tracking.
  • Collaborates with global cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize data analysis needs for risk management.
  • Trains and supports team members in the use and interpretation of data visualizations, reports, and dashboards.
  • Continually assesses and improves data visualization practices to align with best practices and stakeholder needs.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Business Analytics, Statistics, Data Science, or related field
  • 6+ years of relevant professional work experience
  • 3+ years of experience with reporting and data analytics

Additional Skills/Preferences:

  • GRC Reporting Expertise: Proficiency in developing, implementing, and managing GRC reporting.
  • GRC Technology Experience: Experience working with large-scale enterprise GRC technology reporting mechanisms with the ability to develop and maintain complex reporting frameworks. Proficiency with ServiceNow preferred.
  • Data Analysis: Strong skills in statistical analysis and data modeling with large and complex datasets to generate risk insights, including experience using AI tools to further analyses as well as mastery at integrating various data sources.
  • Data Visualization: Proficiency with data visualization tools (e.g. PowerBI, Tableau, Qlik), including AI-enabled applications.
  • Reporting: Outstanding ability to translate complex data sets into visually compelling and easy-to-understand reports with an eye toward leadership-level end users.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Excellent interpersonal skills to work with data owners, cross-functional partners, and other business leaders to identify unmet data analytics or process improvement needs and ensure effective use of GRC reporting with the ability to translate business needs into technical reporting, including effective demonstrations of visualization tools and reports for end users.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to identify, navigate, and creatively resolve technical issues related to GRC technology reporting.
  • Global Perspective: Experience working in a global environment and managing enterprise-wide projects with demonstrated success.

Actual compensation will depend on a candidate’s education, experience, skills, and geographic location. The anticipated wage for this position is

$150,000 - $220,000

Full-time equivalent employees also will be eligible for a company bonus (depending, in part, on company and individual performance).
