Position Description:
The Sr. Director – Business Insights & Analytics, Consumer Journey will be part of a growing and dynamic team of analytics professionals whose main goal is to help our business partners achieve their goals through data analytics enablement. This role requires a deep understanding of existing healthcare data products, and extensive knowledge of consumer experience data. The Sr. Director will help establish the disease state/ therapeutic area end-to-end consumer journey analytics strategies. The position will play a critical role in identifying, structuring and analyzing relevant data sources, to determine relationships, tension points and drivers of business outcomes. You will also be responsible for developing and defining KPIs in partnership with LUSA CJOs.
This position will lead a variety of analytical projects in collaboration with BI&A, CJOs, LPS, GCO, OTGS and Business units along with a support team located at Lilly Corporate Center India (LCCI - Bangalore). They will communicate analytical outputs to collaborators in a way that drives key business decisions and inform patient centric solutions. This role reports to the AVP of Business Insights & Analytics, Global Consumer and HCP Media Analytics.
Responsibilities:
Assess existing and new data/sources in partnership with CJOs, Data Engineering, BI&A product teams, LPS, Digital Engagement, OTGS, media, privacy and other partners to establish a core set of analytics products that enhance insights, activation and improve patient experiences
Lead the development of end-to-end consumer experience dashboards, KPIs and Goals
Leads the data and analytics product development, and ongoing delivery of data driven insights in support of end-to-end consumer journey strategies across DS/TA, (e.g., Alzheimer’s, Dermatology, Metabolic Health)
Deeply understand DS/TA specific consumers and their experiences across the end-to-end journey
Support end-to-end analytics learning agenda, inclusive of the analysis, reporting and insights to accelerate scaling of solutions that improve outcomes.
Help define both the long-term analytics roadmap and near-term sprint plans, ensuring a focus is anchored to critical metrics that link to business value
Collaborate with business and capability leaders (e.g., Data Democratization, LillyDirect™, Tech@Lilly, BI&A Business Integration Teams) to align on quarterly prioritization
Establish, standardize and monitor CX KPIs. ensure regular updates to business and cross-functional partners
Accountable for delivery of analytics products to support overall consumer experience performance (e.g., full funnel, omnichannel, consumer satisfaction)
Ensure analytics projects follow all privacy, legal requirements include any 3rd party and data use agreements.
Drive integration of analytics results into decision making.
Provide estimated impact/value of campaigns and/or tactics to influence prioritization based on business impact
Answer questions/provide direction and expertise on business rules for analyses
Triage analytics requests/needs and determine where/how to proceed (internal existing capacity, external vendor) matching capacity and capability
Basic Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, Economics or Mathematics or equivalent work experience

Additional Skills/Preferences:
Strong analytical skills coupled with eye for business, and an ability to think strategically in an ambiguous environment
Consistent track record leading and delivering complex multi-functional projects
Experience in valuation model building and robust excel modeling skills
Substantial analytics experience with understanding of complexities in specialty markets, analytics techniques and US pharmaceutical business
Experience with 3rd party data
Ability to rally resources to achieve project and business results
High level of motivation and a willingness to find creative solutions to challenging situations
Superb communication (written & verbal), interpersonal influencing skills and prioritization skills with attention to detail
Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Demonstrated ability to apply all Compliance Policies and Procedures (CPP) and Good Promotional Practices (GPP) and related Federal marketing and promotional laws and regulations in unstructured and fluid situations
Demonstrated ability to implement business rules and policies in a constructive but principled manner
Experienced in navigating matrixed organizations
Proven knowledge and understanding of consumer-facing digital technology solutions
Strong collaborator with cross-functional teams from tech, design, and business
Experienced in facilitating agile cadence, handling backlog/release plan, tracking team metrics, removing blockers
Problem solver with ability to manage and lead development of new solutions
Strong leader, collaborator, teammate, and individual contributor
Excellent communication skills with teams, strong storytelling with business partners

Actual compensation will depend on a candidate’s education, experience, skills, and geographic location. The anticipated wage for this position is
$162,000 - $237,600Full-time equivalent employees also will be eligible for a company bonus (depending, in part, on company and individual performance).
